i really hope he realises that in the long run its better to stay with us, man city do have a very good youth setup but with all their money they just go n buy world class players rather than giv youth a chance

Not sure what you've been told, he might be. Not what I read.
Pretty irrelevant anyway.
Wayne Rooney was definitely an Everton fan... that didn't stop him f***ing off to Man Utd.
And who could honestly blame him for that? Apart from Everton supporters.
If the boy wants to go - he'll go. Simple as that.

well done GP
at the end of the day, it's the kids talent that has brought all this forward & his name into the limelight
what little i have read about the kid he does come across as level headed & genuine young lad who only wants to play football, of course that could all change with the lure of the "pound note" (and by the sounds of it, bundles of em) :waaaht:
hopefully he will at least leave it until next season & if we're in the prem then we could & should be able to compete with the likes of Man City

As callous as this may sound, for a 14 year old, take the cash. There's absolutely no guarantee of any sort of success. There are many, many players at that age who really stand out, physically as well as technically. At the moment, he's a boy in a mans body but others will catch up very quickly.
For every Wayne Rooney, there's a Wayne Harrison, Tony Simmons, Maurice Doyle or Cherno Samba.
Having said that - I'd assume Man City are offering something really, really eye watering to tempt him away from the other 3 or 4 London clubs who would take him like a shot.

If he does go, lets hope the club arrange a nice 'sell on' clause so we get a nice chunk of his next transfer fees!2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!
2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....
2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....
2015/2016, average at best.....
2016/2017, same old, same old....
2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!
Its the hope that kills you!

STILL BET WE GET STUNG. Look at the like of what Southampton got for Walcott and Bale. Yeah I know they were a few years older than this kid and they were playing in the Championship but this kid is due to get an appearance at some point this season. Bet if we let him got we'll be lucky to even get £1.5million for him.
I personally think this is just another paper story.

We don't have a academy, he is not guaranteed to make it at the highest level, however good he is at 14. I think a move to Manchester City is good for all concerned.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

For all the clubs that spend oodles on Academy status, how many are finding kids who are actually making the breakthrough and playing in the Prem?
Arsenal scour the entire planet for players, and probably bring on more kids than any other club. Man U bring through one or two, but none appear to be of the exceptional talent that came through with the likes of Giggs, Beckham, Scholes, the Nevilles etc. Now it's more of the Darren Fletcher type. But the other clubs? Virtually nothing.
As Nodge rightly says, he's a kid and as well as others catching him up in terms of growth, he could easily find it hard to keep his weight in check as he gets older (as I believe Rooney will over the next few years).
At the moment, all he has is potential. If he wants to stay at QPR, then the club should do everything possible to protect and shield him and his parents from agents, press etc. If his/his parents heads have already been turned, time to get the best deal possible for the club.

Isleworth its a delicate one, but even at England u-16 level, I'd like to know the percentage of kids that make it into top flight professionals? Not very high, I would imagine. Ultimately and I am sorry to say this, if he wishes to progress to that level, a move to a club like Manchester City is the best way forward for him.
Not that it matters, on a separate note I think he supports Chelsea.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Pete it doesnt frigging matter if he supports Chelsea!!!
a) we should have the set up where he wants to stay ...we are THE RICHEST CLUB ON PLANET EARTH
b) he shouldnt have a ****** agent at that age
c) if he is allowed to go unless it is for silly money as far as sell on fees go then the club should hand their head in shame.
d) Yes, you dont know what will happen, dean parret is looking like good business for us BUT we are supposed to be en-route to becoming a big club and kids should be staying here.....
