Unfortunately for Pete it makes him out to look rather silly when he actually comes across as a decent guy. I've never met him but we know through all the work he does for this website and for the way he travels up and down the country he is QPR through and through.

[QUOTE=qblockpete;180297]Never said Pellcori would be good enough for the first team.

Please don't put words into my mouth.

Pete, you saw him play pre season in Croatia I think it was, and u were on here saying how good he was, that he's a real poacher and will score 15 goals etc..
We've needed another2 top forwards for the last 18 months. Pull your head out of gianni's ringer and open your mind FFS!

        Thats slightly annoying.

Never said that..Please point me in that direction, if I did.

Look up that video again, SAID MORE THAN ONCE HE WOULD NOT BE GOOD ENOUGH IN MY OPINION
Okay making political points, but at least get them right.

He did actually say Pellican wasn't going to be good enough for 1st team.
To be fair that was the only thing he has got right.
I agree he has a split personality.
On video he talks sense and on here he just try's to stir people up the wrong way.
          Shame really.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I always maintained the Pellican would not be good enough and that Faurlin would be good.

Seem to be ridiculed for that, as well.

            How right, I was...............

This is actually what Pete said regarding Pellicori:

In regards to Pellicori, I see him being a squad player, but will be a handful to most defenders. He will score more goals than De Carmine without doubt and will need time to adapt, but will allow us to play a different way if the passing side of things are not working and will be a good target man. I personally feel we should see how things go in regards to scoring goals (in minority), but we have so much flair, I don't see it being a problem. In fact, we will be more adventerous and I can see us conceding more goals than last season, but at least winning games by scoring goals.

In fairness to Pete he says that he is a squad player rather than first XI but for him to score more goals than De Carmine (which isn't difficult) he would have to appear in the first XI to do this. So Pete is kind of saying to make that sort of prediction that Pellicori will score goals and to do so will have to appear in the first XI.

Pete, you were right on those two counts, but are very wrong indeed to think that QPR do not need at least 1 more decent striker, just because they are the 3rd highest scorers in the division.

As has been pointed out, 17 of those goals came in four games. 14 from the other 13 is a very poor return from such a 'quality attacking team'????

Only pkloft has answered my question, by saying sticking Buzsacky in centre of midfield.

We have the most adventurous front 4 in this division. I'm not saying we don't need a striker, but no-one will come in on loan NOW, based on not being able to guarantee a start.

It seems many are craving for one now.

so what your saying is, if we had the chance to sign Beckford, Welbeck, Macheda, Benjani, Sturridge or someone of that elk, he'd go on the bench

mindboggling to say the least :what:

                    • I'm saying you cannot get any striker until January.

All this get them in now, is just knnejerk rection to a 2-0 defeat.

You could not guarantee any striker now a slot in that front 4. Simple

Some of the best strikers started out in other positions, henry was a winger when brought to arsenal and then converted to a striker , I'm not saying that I want to buy a winger and convert him, but some players need to be given a chance, but IMO I think we need to get rid of the pellican and ageymang and bring in hooper and someone big (best)

Kneejerk?! Mate we've needed quality up front for last 18 months.. The last few games have highlighted our need for alternative options up front.

The loan window closes on Thursday so yes you can still sign players. Secondly how come Marcus Bent signed for Middlesborough on loan but was only on the bench on Saturday?
