  • The start of our....

bad run is looking like it's here after we've had our good little run, the question is can we change it back to winning games?

Would you rather a bad patch now or later, every team has them.

i think people are looking way too much into this. We are 6th in the league - and have hardly hit a bad run yet. We have probably the best squad of players that we have had for a long time - and if anything, we are going forward and will be surpirsed if a bad run is coming up

we've bounced back from our defeats ok so far so hoping for the same again and not going on a bad run.

would have taken one win from last two aways rather than two draws.

still there but cant lose any more ground on the top two.

two home wins should do the trick.

I thought the bad run was first few games of the season :horror:
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

After Derby, our form has been

          Leicester - way below average
          Palace - ok
          Sheff Weds - ok
          Doncaster - attrocious

In fact, the performance at Doncaster reminded me of a team in the Conference, bottom of the league who hadn't won all season. Totally unnaceptable from a QPR side with so much talent.

This season can go two ways from here - the talent shines through and we push for promotion, or; too many loanees and not enough QPR blood ruins the day.

And with the foolowing games coming up, the bad-run could easily continue until boxing day.

Coventry - always seem to do well against QPR.
Boro - better away than at home.
Watford - QPR rarely do well against Watford.
West Brom - I don't expect anything other than another defeat there.
Sheff U - when was the last time QPR beat them at LR.

              i believe that:

              - we play better against "bigger" teams
              - have no plan b
              - need an alternative to play 1 up top alone. - ala helguson like him or hate him.. he i feel would work well with simpson - at least better than vine/agye or pellicori.

i feel we need to bring helguson back when cook is back and play 4-4-2 try playing routledge wide right, cook/taarabt wide left.. and have helguson and simpson up top. simpson would work well imo.

we can always return to the current formation but when in a bad run you will find it harder to pull off these tricks and we need to win dirty in order to go up.

i feel we are still short of "certs" for playoff's even tho i said after preston that we where potential automatic places.. it seems we have been found out and its just not working.

leadership is a big problem also. no mahon, rowlands or even gaz takes alot out of one team.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
              Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

This is what I was getting at if our club/players don't get their act together fast, we can't have many more games like Doncaster.
