  • QPR membership farce

Lo and behold - they now advertise it as costing 33 quid instead of 30, stressing that this now includes the handling and postage etc. Pretty cool, huh? But wait, what is it that I see when I try and buy it - a 3.50 booking fee, the familar old stinker. So in total that makes a whopping 36.50 ... this is disgusting IMHO. Rant over.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,

At the same time they are happy wasting club's money
sending unsolicited club shop catalogues to Estonia,
and I also got a season ticket form the other month

Especially as all anyone's got for that money is a plastic card and plastic loyalty points.
We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are...

Yeah all I really want is the membership status - to buy good seats early online, before tickets go on general sale, 3-4 times a year before I fly over. But I will not bother paying over 30 quid for this.

Well they might as well offer me a modest flat near Loftus Road free of charge instead of wasting the same amount on sending me unwanted letters.

the membership is just a mechansism to have a better chance of tickets for big end of season games if we are fighting for play offs and likely to sell out. You don't get and advantage over a non member for most games as far as I know.

You do get a head start. For instance, members can now already buy online tickets for our home game on Boxing Day (which I intend to attend). Without membership I have to wait until coming Saturday to be able to buy a ticket for that game... and I doubt there will be any SA upper front row seats left.

I really don't think it's much of an advantage as we never sell out.

The only reason I had a membership last year was as an insurance policy if we got intp play offs. It is pretty worthless other than that.
