  • Magilton's tactics and subs cost us the game yesterday..........

As usual when Rangers have a big following we don't seem to do the business.

    1. Why did we play 4-5-1 against a team near the bottom?

    2. Why was Faulrin pushed on the wing when he did superb when he came on at Sheff Wed?

    3. Reid and Watson are too similar. Reid had a poor game and shoould have started on the bench even if he is on 30k a week at Blackburn.

    4. Tommy Williams had a shocker. I know Borrowdale is not a great defender, but this guy looks worse.

    5. Magilton took off the wrong players (Buz, Faurlin and Simpson)

    6. Simpson was replaced with Pelicorri who must be right up there as one fo the worst players ever to play for us. Maybe the fact that Flavio was at the game, Magilton had to play one of his buys. Truly shocking player and should never been near the first team again!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

maybe it is reids "deal" he starts and stays on??
    we got everthing wrong
from team selection, formation, tactics, kit and probably what lunch they ate!!!
we are meant to be promotion candidates "with £££ muscle" and got blown away by relegation candidates..now donny have good home form, 1 loss in 9 now but could we have made it easier??????
with 6 prem players on show we were total, utter , pony.

and Magilton says it was a "reality check" for the team, did we not have that against Swansea and Leicester, how many more reality checks will this guy need to play his best team.I am not convinced about him,he needs to learn from his mistakes, and fast, otherwise the fans could start turning on him

                  Exactly, Ploughboy, we are 6th.
Where were we at this stage last season? Or the season before that? Or before that?
In fact, when was the last time we reached the top six of the second tier?
Mistakes were made yesterday, and the team included players who aren't used to each other. hopefully those mistakes will be learnt from, the players will get used to each other and we can all move onwards and upwards.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

selection and subs were all wrong and it was painful to watch, BUT draw a line under it and move on, the championship is a funny league but i wouldnt swop our squad and management pairing for anyones, we will be up there come end of season

I seem to remember a certain sousa getting slaughtered for playing one upfront every wk.

Next wk we need two upfront and with that i mean two out and out forwards not a midfielder.

Spot on, the most important thing is how we react to this result. Following every loss this season we have not lost the following match the team and management has demonstrated a lot of character already this season.

Theres not many Northern games we go up and dominate. Blackpool is the only one i can think of. As well as Langley hatrick a few years ago ..
Its a shame the management dont go on the offical site and say Look Were Sunshine Charlies. We dont like to play in those conditions so please stay away..
Face it! As soon as they scored the game was over. Our bench looked poor not many would change a game. You then begin to wonder about the loanees? Taarabt has a shocking attitude. Cracking at times but the volley yesterday summed him up and our team. Our midfield was awful and couldnt believe Reid was left on.
Were aloud a few howlers over a season. These are normally the games i attend. Burnley was another one from last season. Its a tough few weeks with our injury list.Still cant understand we should have Helguson back. Then send Agyemang,Pellicori and Hall back to sunday league action. They are an awful waste..

Not sure about his reality check comments ...we've now had a reality check from Leicester, Palace and now Doncaster in recent weeks! ...how many reality checks do we need before it becomes the norm? ...very tough December coming up!
