Problem is, we've got Williams and Reid and the manager must have felt he must play them. These players have hardly trained with the first team in the last 2 weeks, (one only joined 2 days ago) and it was a mistake away to play them both.

We were poor, no other word to describe it. I'm forever the optmist, but this was shocking and back to the days of last season.
can't agree-we were better defensively last season.

surely the players went up on friday?jm should not have changed a winning team apart from injuries.does not send out the right message to the players wearing the shirts

the manager is in control. his decision is final. if taarabt doesn't like what he is doing maybe he shouldn't be here. if taarabt can't turn up on time maybe he doesn't want to be here
Hi Sam. No I don't think Taarabt can do that. I clearly said if it wasn't his fault then there needs to be some understanding. Sometimes in London it is impossible to get somewhere, for reasons out of control. If however he was being a prima donna and acting up then of course he should be dropped.

There's no reason, on a separate matter, why a player and manager shouldn't be able to disagree and have an argument without the player being dropped. That shows weak management and that other adults you work with can't have a voice. There's obviously a point where it needs to stop, but there should always be room for discussion, don't you think?

Faurlin was getting his foot in, and doing far more work than the two loanees in CM... so why he was given the hook at half time is beyond me.

I'd like to think that Magilton gave them all a serious #######ing after the game.. and then had a look at his selection/subs.
Too many loans, it's getting a bit messy.

But as I've said, the players who missed out yesterday come out smelling of roses on messgaeboards, they always do..... but the result wouldn't have been different if Agyemang, Borrowdale, Ephraim or Stewart had started.

Oh, is this one of those I love/hate Borrowdale debates brewing up here??

Answer: Tommy Williams. But overall he was no better/worse than half a dozen others.

Look... You rate Borrowdale, I don't.
So don't ask obvious questions just to try and score points on that one.

The team were pony yesterday, end of story.

Your drop a player when he has performed badly or injured, you don't drop him when you've just beaten Sheffield Wednesday away just for the sake of it. Like him or not, Borrowdale has been ever present and we haven't done too bad with him playing, no reason to swap him with Williams.

FWIW, Gorman said on player that they feel Williams has a bit more to offer the team going forward.

Why play Williams when we were afraid of Doncaster. I mean, Williams is fresh in the squad.

A rare error from the managment, in my humble view.:tired::embarrassed::red_heart::red _heart::shame:

i thought thats when borrowdale played best when we were going forward. he supported the midfield well. it was his defensive ability that worried me.

Erm.... he wasn't "swapped with Williams".
Borrowdale didn't play at Sheffield Weds, Ramage was left back.

Does the same apply now? I detect a little bit of scapegoating of Williams here, to back up past opinions on Borrowdale.

Williams wasn't the only one who played poorly yesterday, far from it.
I've based my opinion of Borrowdale over a dozen games watching him live... some might agree, some wont - that's fair enough.
But Williams seems to be hung out to dry by a few, based on one game where the whole team played like drunken pigs on rollerskates.

                            .

This happened to Ramage as well though.

We beat Scunny away from home and the next game he is dropped and Leigertwood is picked at right back instead of him. That's football. There was no reason for dropping Ramage but Magilton did and most are saying that it was a brilliant decision. Based on that 'experiment' no wonder why JM thought it was worth dropping Borrowdale for a perceived better defender.

I think it was too early to throw the 2 loans in there...

Nobody is bigger than the team, i couldnt care less who they are, we have to trust JM and JG...

Perhaps the 451 left simpson with not enough support...

Bad day at the office, im sure we will see a better performance against coventry...
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...
