when i think about some of the entertainment we've had this season compared to last, part of me would honestly accept playing well and not going up than getting promoted sousa style .
win or lose, at least we do it the rangers way. YOUUUUU RSSSSS :super_man:

So we concede a few more goals than last season, look at our goal difference FFS, we've about half contenders for Championship goal of the season already.

This is not a Swansea love in, the fact is if our defence was tighter and at he start of the season players played in the correct position, we would not have had stupid draws against Blackpool, Peterborough and Plymouth And we would be top of the league.

The first 5/6 games of the season was about this team finding its feet can't you see that....new manager, new players, different system.
Another of way of looking at it is that our form since those first half a dozen games would pretty much have us top of the league.
We now have a more open attacking style of play which leaves us slightly more vunerable at the back. By the time new year comes around we'd have probably scored just as many goals as last season.
The CCC is a 46 game season.....thats a long season of watching a defensive football as we all know from the crap served up under Sousa and Dowie last season.
Funny thing Paul in a few months time you'll still be dragging these matches where players were played out of position and we drew mtaches we should have won because thats the sort of fan you are.....one whom is never happy.

Just to clear up I'd sooner be watching quality football in the CCC than playing crap football and getting to the PL. Maybe I stand alone but thats just me, I look forward to the weekend and a good game of football. I stuck by Sousa last season to the death but that was purely on the principal that we needed stability and nothing else. I even met him in Chiswick and could tell he was a passionate man about football but the truth is having been starved of fluid football for well over a decade I was prepared to except Sousas football philosophy. Now though things have changed my faith as been restored in watching a QPR side play good football and that is all I care about, PL means nothing to me.
Swansea are only 3rd because they played on Friday, let's see come 5pm.

you're a loon, I used those games as an example just as you used the amount of goals we scored as an example and if we miss out on automatic promotion by 2pts, yes I will bring up the games as the tinkering, bad defending and shocking striking options cost us 6pts. I thought pre season was for finding out your best team

He couldnt really argue with you there, could he Paul.
Well lads, theyre still above us. Credit where credit is due and all that. Fair play to Sousa I say, he's doing a good job on limited resources. At the end of the day its about results. Yes sure he may not have played particularly attractive football here, but the dignity with which he handled himself over the shocking circumstances of his sacking were exemplary. He'll have his day in court though. Ultimately though, I'm a football purist, so give me Jim's philosophy all day long.

Oh how I love idiot QPR fans, which unfortunately is quite a few! Statements like "we will finish at least 10 points clear of them" and "we've about half contenders for Championship goal of the season already" are hardly proof of anything are they? How does having a few good goals win you promotion!?
Look at the simple facts (A QBP favourite), Swansea are above us and are unbeaten in 11 and feeling confident, whereas we are struggling for form and we have a manager who seems clueless a lot of the time.
Having a defence which leaks very few goals is conducive of a promotion winning team.
