Good move but I hope after he finishes playing we will have him back in a coaching role.
Top top guy and a great example to any young player. Gl Gareth and all the best!I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment

Good luck Gareth, a true servant to the club through thick and thin.
Frees up some wages though.......:devil:2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!
2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....
2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....
2015/2016, average at best.....
2016/2017, same old, same old....
2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Everyone always says "give him a coaching job", but what job exactly? Is there a coaching vacancy? Budgets are as strict off the field as on it, probably more so. Good bloke though, wish him well. Now for Agypants, Pelicori etc...Comment

As for Cook "playing a bit pony". How exactly, considering he has been out injured all season.
You can't judge him on last season's form because he was clearly not 100% fit and probably not even 75%.Comment

Good luck to Gaz though, always a pleasure to watch him play (for us I mean, not Cardiff). A great example for the younger players in commitment - and the importance of keeping yourself in good shape as you get older.Comment
