  • Hello and a rubbish question!

Big Hello from the middle of Wales. Been lurking for a bit now, love the site.
By way of introduction I'm in my 40's, live in Wales now but was dragged up in Hanwell . My mates dad was a steward and used to sneak us in. Got some great memories.

Don't get to too many games these days, went to Swansea though (Watson you Muppet), why oh why didn't I go to the Cardiff game instead and hoping to get to HQ before the end of the season.

Anyway, now for the rubbish question. My wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas this morning and I thought it was about time I got a new shirt - my old one has got Ericson on it! So what's the sizing like? Should she order bigger or smaller than I need or are they about right?

    Thanks!

      Definitely go 2 sizes bigger!

Hanwell was nice back in the old days, bit of a strange place now! Spent many hours trudging up and down to Elthorne Park for a kick about!
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

      2015/2016, average at best.....

      2016/2017, same old, same old....

      2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

View from and LCS shirts if they say size L (42-44) then Lotto shirts go for XXL

          I'm normally an XL.

Bought a ###L to be on the safe side.

Some say it's slightly too big for me.

But tried on the XXL and it was slightly too tight.

I think Goldilocks had a similar problem with porridge, chairs and beds - which is why she was a nightmare girlfriend to take shopping.

So... This hasn't helped at all.

Sorry about that but welcome to the board anyway.

Thanks for the advice folks and for the welcome. I'm normally a L so it looks like XXL is the way to go.

We used to hang out as kids in the Bunny Park at the end of Church Road, or in a place we used to call the dump which was down the bottom of Elmbank / Cuckoo Dene off Greenford Avenue. I remember finding one of our teachers bikes chained to some railings in the Bunny Park so we took it to bits piece by piece and chucked it all in the Brent.
