                        1979 but as a very young kid I remember Jim smith and the plastic pitch.
                        Gary Bannister was just brilliant and was my fav player.
                        I played sunday league football today.

                        Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

                        I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

                        We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

                            I was talking between 85 and 88 but I also had the pleasure to remember a Sir Les Ferdinand. I really do feel for Chris who is even more of a whipper snapper. He missed the best years.
                            I played sunday league football today.

                              I grew up on Sir Les...was my Idol !!!! Cant remember when I started going, but I do remember standing in the loft and my dad made me some stupid box to stand on so I can see lol. Must of started going in the very early 90's when I was about 6 or 7.
