Good luck cookie, of course he's not going to come straight back in, but he strengthens the bench, and IMHO there is still not a better crosser of the ball at the club

Great News. No he won't walk back into the team, like any other injured player, however with talk of Taarabt leaving in January and no other left footed wingers at the club this can only be a good thing. He has a couple of months to get completely match fit.

And I know many say this is sentimental but I genuinely believe Cook should be given more chances than most after he gave us his signing fee after joining Fulham. How many players OR fans do you know that have shelled out a quarter of a million to save their football club? Still a lot even for a footballer and he never knew a few months later we'd be bought out by bajillionaires and because of that he has earned himself a hundred second chances.
