  • So, Reid's first day

Anyone know if he's played with any of our current players at all? Can't see him being fit enough to start on Saturday - wonder if he'll impress enough to be on the bench?

I wonder if your get his boots before he realises he is in London hmm???
Only joking all for a good cause keep it up.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

3 actually. 191 minutes played this season.

The big worry is has only managed 31 starts and 4 sub appearances since the start of the 2006-2007 season....

To put that into perspective that is even fewer than HH :waaaht:

To put it into Prespective, he is premiership class and this manager will probably play him instead of moaning about him or sending him off to Brighton on loan.

What, even if he isn't fit?

if fit, he has prem lge ability

i'd rather we had gone for jonathan greening close season
and jimmy bullard always seems in the back of my mind, but he too has had injuries!!

ha163, of course he is fit.. Unfortunately scaremongerers just cannot help putting little doubts in fans minds and hope it sticks.

He trains everyday with a team like Blackburn Rovers, Allarydyce has advocated him to Trappotini this season to play him for Rep Ireland and the lad has played a few games.

However good we are, a club in the championship is not going to pinch a regular first teamer for a premiership club.

Great signing, typical QPR fans slagging off a player before hes even played.

Yes hes had a bad injury record in the PAST, but hes fit now and only here for a month, nothing to lose on our end.

If you're talking about Sousa and Borrowdale (again)....

Well "this manager" (Magilton) HAD to play Borrowdale, because he's had no other option. Until now.... when he will drop him at the first opportunity he gets, and play a loanee from Peterborough.

Last year we had Delaney, this year, until now.... nothing.

Give it up, Pete and admit it that Paulo is showing what he can do when he's left to manage and not having players forced on him.

I think that the whole Borrowdale issue was about Sousa stamping his authority on the club. Borrowdale was, so obviously, a Paladini signing and Sousa was quite rightly p'd off about not having the final say on a transfer.

He is doing a fine job with an average squad in Swansea at the moment and would have done a fine job in the long run if he was left alone to manage at QPR.

But, as others have said - just let it go...

I also agree with Robbo's post and he was very unlucky with injurys, however ... I don't miss the boring 0-0's and the fact he ruined good players like Routledge with his defensive tactic's. Just my opinion.

Didn't Trappatoni take one look at Reid in training and said he's finished?

Sure there was big brou haha afterwards with the long ball obsessed, Allardyce slating the successful, multi trophy winning, international manager.

I liked Reid as a player at Millwall where he linked up brilliantly with Cahill. Not seen enough of him at Blackburn to comment but 31 starts since August 2006 is concerning.
