Just wondering if we will play him or have to play under the terms - what sense does it make dropping Watson or Faurlin ? Sure we need cover but perhaps he HAS to play otherwise whats the point in Blackburn letting him come to us.
not exactly an earth shattering signing is it. he's presumably out of shape, he's definitely injury prone and he's going to keep our bench warm for 4 or 5 games.

dont agree,he has alraedy played twice since his injury, and i would expect him to play a big part.
Sounds to me like were just getting him match fit for a return to Blackburn?
That's ok with me.
In January, QPR can buy Watson and loan another midfielder to cover until Mahon is fit again.
I don't think Faurlin will make way for Reid as such. Faurlin was probably rested for the Sheff Weds game and may be rested again after the Doncaster game, as he continues to adapt to the game here.
It looks like Reid will get a few games here and there as a starter and a few as a sub. Especially over the busy Christmas schedule, perhaps alternating with Faurlin.
Great news about a £300K deal for Heaton. I am also pleased to see that Marshall is joining as cover until Heaton joins. At least we know he is a capable keeper.
Also great news about Vine making a quick recovery. Perhaps the hernia injury has been part of the reason for the somewhat disappointing performances this season.
