  • New signing "issues"

Appara we need to ship players....makes sense, get some wages off our books...so jim may get his number 2 target rather than his first choice for midfield. Striker seems inbound too...all dependent on loaning players out..however, who the heck would want to leave us is the issue!

heard agents are being a bit of an prob...which reminds me..the FL should be announcing their specifics for agents fees soon. Think we paid out over half a million getting players in and out according to beryl at the FL.

Id say its most likely to be Garvan of Ipswich at a guess.

no way to dave, dunno about hogan, the pelicon is appara impressing, the nose keeps getting in the squad for some reason and damage is a great squad player and coverage.

Remember who we are paying wages to

Vine - highest paid player at the club allegedly.
Gaz - who i've never even seen at Harlington this season...
Helguson - who is only on loan
Rose - who appears to be doing jack diddly

Ainsworth should of been moved into coaching at the end of last season or pay him off and let him have a season at Barnet with Furlong.

No need for wholesale exits. We need a striker, then get shot of Helguson. We need a midfielder, but that's where our injuries are, so look to get any high earner off the books where it won't hurt us. That's Hall.

Striker will come later, midfielder probably this week.

True, we have to let a few go.

Wycombe want Ainsworth and Southampton want Agyemang.

Rumour (only rumour) Sheffield Wed are keen on Vine along with Derby.

Big mistake to let Vine go at this stage. Ains and Dave would be no huge loss, but I would not want Dave and HH gone before another striker is in place.

vine will come good soon enough

question is how long should we give him ?

if we could loan him out to get him off the wage bill in return for a striker like hooper i would be tempted

Like I say, if you need wages off the payroll, Helguson and Hall would be the ones no one would miss. Closely followed by Dave.

All presupose a) someone wants and can afford them and b) the player agrees to go
