Most of the QPR games I go to watch are at home. I would like to try and get to more away matches but finances are tight. On average how much does it cost you for any away game (including everything - ticket, travel, food, booze)?

Cant get to many because of cash but I'd say a ton on those i have been to

        I go to every game.

        Ticket - about 25 quid
        Travel - about 25 quid
Booze and grub - about 50 quid

Yeah, so normally about a 100 quid!

Shame some of the players don't realise some of the sacrifices we make.

If we win, I normally stay out and spend more. Ha ha!

Maybe, we should start a section whereby fans can share car lifts to a\way games?? ANyone think thats a good idea??

I know some fans who simply drive to away games by themselves and with 3-4 or in the car it can really reduce costs and at least you can have some friendly banter.

I'm having difficulty getting to away games this season as those I would typically travel with are either skint or have other commitments.

Not keen on travelling by coach or getting beered up all day just want to watch the football, be interested to see if any one is offering lifts for the price of a ticket from West London.

I always do a ton at away games. Last season was ridiculous for me as I got wasted at quite a few games to help cope with the boredom. I worked out that I done around £6-7k in total for home and away. United away was over £400 itself.

as hammersmith says travel/ticket about £50.then its up to the individual.he could take his own grub and maybe dont drink much alcohol? so its possible to do it for £60.

Usually go by train as the station is a five minute walk from my house.Usually do around half a dozen a season.Work commitments limit them.

Probably average around £100 at a guess.Biggest expense is the train ticket unless i book really early, which is difficult at the moment with work.
