I'm watching him now. Not sure about him and his second goal was lucky after a poor finish he got the rebound. Have to say his 1st touch looks very good though.

Saw a lot of him year before last and his nickname at Brighton was Cart Horse. To be fair looked better yesterday than I have seen him so can only assume he spent much of his time out learning the offside rule because it was certainly alien to him prior to that. A real lumberer and dreadful first touch, can't pass, decent at heading, poor shot although occasionally shows flashes of finishing.

The thing about him though is he just keeps going and his goal rate is good. I remember one game he was coming towards goal, his first touch let him down and defender stretch out only to deflect it back towards him, again he failed to get decent control and it ran away from him, defender flew in to hack it away and it bounced off his knee and in. For me that summed him up. A complete oaf but plays with real heart and just keeps going. Doesn't seem to care how many times he is caught off side or gets tackled, just keeps plodding on and often eventually comes up with the goods.

We have the while Pele. Maybe he could be the white Devon White!

He is desperate to leave as has not settled in south and maybe travel links would make London viable. If we could get him for what Brighton paid, £350k, could be worth a punt. The old Cookie would have had a field day planting crosses on his head.

There was a striker for Huddersfield that looked half decent the day before on TV.
