Yes. This style would suit him better than Sousa's.
Agree mate.
He is a flair player and Sousa's defensive minded style stifled him i believe. So yes,i would take him back.Hopefully he would settle in England better this time as well.
He was voted MOM in 3 of the first 5 league games, by the fans on here.
carlisle United stands out because of the hat-trick, but short memories spring to mind.
Agreed
We got an attacking manager, Ledesma is attacking minded, he wants to come back, makes so much sense to me :boss:
Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
Cracking to get Ledesma back, crowd favourite in the Buz/ Weagrle/ Strainrod tradition - thought he was a tremendous talent and it was heartbreaking to see his confidence ebb away last season. As Pete says it wasn't just the Carlisle game. I remember for instance Charlton away he came on and looked the best player on the pitch, had a goal unfairly disallowed in the last minute. Jim and John wd bring the best out of him. Just pay off Gareth and send The Nose to Brentford for a year. I'm also not as fussed as a lot of people are about Hogan, if Sousa or someone wanted to offer big money for him then I wdn't be devastated if he toddled off. BTW, think it was 3m euros we had an option to get Ledesma for - quality player.
I'd love him back, proper flair player, did look very talented at the start of last season.
Head over heart though, look how many players we already have who play wide.. Routledge, Buzsaky, Taarabt, Cook, Ephraim, Balanta can all play there and that's without even considering Alberti and Ainsworth.
I still think we shouldn't have let him go in the first place.
It doesn't sound as if he has set the world on fire since he left, but regardless of that he proved to us what an exceptional talent he is. I could see him flourishing under Magilton/Gorman. If it is at all possible, a HUGE YES from me.
