We do lack strikers but if everyone is fit then I only see Spain in our way.
The south americans teams in Brazil and Argentina are not as good as they used to be.
Everyone else is very beatable. I don't follow the stupid media hype but we have enough world class players and plus we look to be playing better as a unit. Capello seems to be the right man to achieve it too
Brazil
Argentina ( bad qualyifing but good enough )
Germany
Portugal
USA (will suprise a few)
Ivory Coast
Australia
All those teams I can see doing as well or better than England. If Aaron Lennon & Glenn Johnson are in the team we wont even qualify out the group IMO. Dont want to put a downer on the world cup party/bandwaggon but just cant see us doing to well.....of course save this reply and come July if im proved wrong I will apologise and eat humble pie@chrisrobson9

Portugal
USA (will suprise a few)
Costa Rica
Australia
I was going to save the reply but that is an insult to England.
Players like Gerrard and Rooney will be too hot for those side and I don't even need to mention others.
Portugal have to even qualify 1st.
Come on Chris you're being a tad harshI played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

England should get to the semi's with a fair wind. The SA conditions will undoubtedly favour a northern hemisphere side.
Argentina are woeful, really bad.
Last 4 tips....... England, Spain, USA, Italy.
The US will be the "shock" this time around, but not really to anyone that's watched them closely for the last couple of years. They really are a decent all round, if unspectacular side.

Forget the costa coffee mistake for Ivory coast how have you included Australia? We are not talking about the cricket world cup. Apart from Cahill they are pants. USA IMHO won't get very far. They play as a team but don't have world class players. Spain, england have match winners. The MLS is sh it and I am pleased Beckham is going to Milan. Not enough of the USA side play in Europe and that will be their downfall. Chris that was a mickey mouse cup.I played sunday league football today.
