I take most of my family with me!!
Only have a small family within local area, in-laws are in Plymouth, my relatives are splattered around the country, mostly down in Brighton, and contact with them is minimal.
Boxing Day is football day, no questions.
If hubby works Boxing Day, he just doesn't come with us.

      You're hubby works boxing day?
My word you're a hard woman!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Me and my girlfriend spend most evenings with our son doing the things he likes (or helping with his homework) from the time he gets home from school until it's his bedtime around 8 o'clock. No problem.

Weekends are no problem either as he loves spending them with his mum, nan, grand-dad or at his mates houses.

My girlfriend okay about it. Strangely, it works okay for us because he knows I love him and QPR to bits and he never misses out on anything so I don't get the awkward conversations. I am very lucky.

Took him to QPR for the Forest game this season and he was bored silly. He hasn't asked me to take him again. I just can't get him into football... yet!

Not being rude but how do you afford to take the family all around the country to watch the rangers?

On most occasions family is 1st.

I do get to some games still, but quite often I feel a bit guilty and QPR usually 'punish' me by playing $hite.

Last season it was Coventry, Ipswich, Norwich, Palace & Plymouth and so far this season Blackpool & Forest.

It's only me, hubby, my dad, and my two kids.
Josie is disabled so we always get a disabled + carer ticket for her.
My dad is a senior, Dan is a student/young adult -- so mostly concessions.
It still uses all our disposable income though -- never go to theatre (occasional cinema trip) or restaurants.
Neither me nor hubby smokes nor drinks, other than a 4-pack from Tesco's once a week for hubby -- if Dan want to smoke he buys his own from his own money.

Still leaves us very, very out-of-pocket to follow Rangers.

Weekends in my house are a footballing nightmare. I have a wife, 2 boys and a girl.

On Saturday mornings my eldest boy trains, at the same time I coach my younger boys side. Then I either play in the afternoon or go Rangers.....Sunday mornings both my sons play matches for their teams.....

My mrs and daughter are quite tolerant if I think about it....

Suffice to say I love it when we have a midweek match, it makes life so much more easier for me!
