  • Transfer - Loans

The past season, we seemed to get loans in that we turned into full transfers.

We seem to have a good looking team at moment , but would hope that the likes of Simpson - Taarabt turn into full time QPR players otherwise (In my Opinion) bit of a waste signing them. The team is being built around these players and would be shame to see them go either in January / end of season.

Is the Williams one also a loan with view to buy? Seems strange otherwise getting him in at moment with Matt coming back or are we a tadge short a t back now?

Just a few thoughts that s all !

Williams Will definitely sign In January.

Simpson and Tarrabt are here to get us promoted, if we do manage that, pretty odds on they would stay, in my opinion

Hope not too many..we have Heaton Simpson Taarabt watson and Williams.

I would like to see at least 3 of the above be made into full time players otherwise nearly of the time could be loans!!

Without the loans we are a very average team.

Morris - that's my point.Last season, we seemed to test the loan market by getting players in - and if looked good - buy them in the January transfer market.

I like that approach , although it can work against you i suppose. If a player performs well, then the selling club can put their price up...But we seemed to get good deals on the likes off Akos and Vine.

Other clubs will just bring in loans to help them through a season.I would hope if the board like what they have seen from certain loan players, then make them an offer in jan - as like you say the likes of Taarabt Simpson and even watson have made us look a very good CCC side

I don't see the problem in having a mix of loan signings and permanent players. We need a team to push for promotion; this is sensibly done IMHO with both perm and loanees. I do not accept that we look average if you remove Taraabt... clearly a fanatastic player whom I'd love to be a perm. signing, ..... but if he departs, I don't see us falling off a cliff!

I think we are being sensible.Think of how much it would cost to have bought our loan players. And if we did not get promoted we would probably have them wanting to leave.

If we go up at least we have a good chance of them wanting to turn their loan into a perm.

Aren't at least a couple of these along the lines of Buz's ''loan''?

qpr dad - that's exactly my point. If they are - then i like the way the club handles transfers(No more wasted players on long contracts etc)

There is talk (unconfirmed) to that effect about Watson and probably Williams but not as far as anyone knows to Taraabt or Simpson.
