Been Invited To Do A Regular QPR FEATURE Radio Show 12-1pm

This is the letter I got

"We have been making some changes at the station and have added a new Saturday football show from 11am-1pm. I have been talking to the producer and we would like to offer you the opportunity to come on the show whenever QPR are playing at home. You could come in the studio anytime between 12 and 1 and we could discuss the game that day and give you the chance to give a fans view on the club.

The other option is for you and the people who use your website to do a weekly package which would go out each week. Preferably it would last 5-10 minutes and allow you to plug your website and put together a QPR feature. The show is quite comical and light and includes features such as 'Wag Watch' and 'He's had a mare'

if it was me i would take the first option

I actually think Pete that yourself and Dext could be a decent team.
Maybe Dext should just be a phone in and maybe it would be good to have a side kick. I don't know Alibabes but a woman would make sense. All radio Dj's have a side kick these days. Also Dext you should use the opportunity to read out some poems. Not all but some are very good.

in all seriousness once you get the experience you could start a WATRB radio station over the net which could go out live, don't know the in's & out's in how it can be done, but i'm sure someone on here would know

That is what I wanted to do but we couldn't have inbound telephone calls, still not out of the question though and it would only be Internet based.

However this is a new radio station and they'd like some help and have asked by offering WATRB with time on air. We have some idea's and already know from the past what we would like to do and how, we'll just have to wait and see how this meeting goes first.

They also have the same problem with inbound calls but at least its live on air and the Internet for now, together we can grow.

If this goes well it will only be good news for all us Rangers fans, trust me!

1 hour will fly by, if your talking about something your passionate about you wont have enough time to say everything you want! Subjects crop up that you can carry to the next week, and ideas will come easy once pete is in the groove....

6-7pm, would be best! You'll get some really good reaction calls!...

12-1pm, might be a tad slow to get going, although if you enjoy it and the station will have it, both might be a good idea...

If you did do both, You might want to have the same people on twice wether it be calls from the general public or specials guests you could take there outlook on both pre and post match reactions.... See how there feelings have changed...

I think 12-1 will be much better. I don't think you should try and compete with prime time tv. I like strictly come dancing and I think a lunch time special will get much more listeners which is what is the important thing you are trying to achieve.

gtleighsr said earlier it also clashes with 606 and stan collymores phone in shows.
