I think Pete's just got his knickers in a twist because he got his prediction wrong. Again. All this noise about GB v TW, and its distracted from yet another pitiful prediction from a man who stakes his reputation on his "contacts" and his "football knowledge".

On a side issue, fans talk constantly about Borrowdale, I'm just making the point, that in my view both Hall and Stewart this season have been bigger liabilities at the back, you only have to look at the goals conceded to confirm that asssumption.

For christs sake, Pete...The issue of the bigger liability is NOT what's in question. You keep bringing irrelevant things into question. I agree, Stewart and Hall ARE bigger liabilities. That's not what we're argueing about, is it?

Untill we either have Matty C fully fit, or get another CB...we have NO choices but to play one of or the other. Exactly the same sittuation as we had with Borrowdale before we signed TW. Now, we have a choice there and my opinion is that Williams will fit our attacking style better.

Believe it or not, I get behind all the players on matchday, whether I think they are good enough or not. Message boards are the place where opinions on players abilities can and should be expressed without having any impact on the player, particularly when those opinions aren't positive.

However, using message boards to try to orchestrate hate campaigns against managers, players, sporting directors, owners or whoever really is despicable, and you as owner of this particular message board either put a stop to it and the individuals concerned, or by doing nothing, you actually support it.

The second paragraph however is boring and unfair on Pete. You'll NEVER let the whole Sousa saga go which is incredibly petty as you still make out Pete called the shots. Sousa made a rod for his own back and whilst I agree his termination was harsh and very premature...the fact is we were not winning enough games or scoring enough goals to really state a claim to keep his job. He slated the way the club was run (At the time I agreed with that too) and that was ultimately his downfall.

Mate, I'm not talking about Sousa, I'm talking about mod's posts yesterday trying to stir up trouble and ill feeling towards Tommy Williams, although I think it's fair to say that Sousa, GP and Flav have also gotten some of the same, which is why I included "managers, players, sporting directors or owners" in my post. And it is relevant to showing that my concern is purely for QPR, I don't think you'll find too many posters defending Sousa, GP and Flav at the same time.

Fair enough mate, but it still sounds like things are coming from the allegations that this site was used to get PS the sack. It's an MB and I'd hesite a guess that every one of them has mixed views on the signing. Just because someone states they believe he'll get booed if he makes an error (something I don't disbelieve knowing our fans) doesn't mean we all agree it's fair. I've know Pete for a long while now and he's never joined in booing, nor any derogatory chant. He dislikles it as much as me and you, however this is as you say 'the place where opinions on players abilities can and should be expressed without having any impact on the player, particularly when those opinions aren't positive.'

For this reason alone, Pete would be in the wrong if he stopped anyone indicating they felt a jeering session would start if a player like TW mucked up.

Wont make for a good radio show if you spit the dummy every time fans don't see everything as you do. You can have debates on the radio, people could send in SMS messages, rather than ring in. But why would they, when you just steamroller your points across by calling people daft and/or deluded for saying stuff you don't agree with??

You handle yourself quite well on the video phone ins.... but on here?? you seem to provoke debate, and then react badly when you get lots of opposing points of view. Very odd.

Reality is, I've been told he played badlly against peterborough and second half against Palace.

Don't think Gary has done anything majorly wrong.just feel he could be improved on when it comes to our attacking play.

I agree.

It isn't that he has made glaring errors, although he was far too slow to react for McGoldrick's equaliser.

However, he is too slow in both attacking and defending situations. Wingers get past him or get in the crosses far too easily and I don't think he has the pace to really join in with the attacks and then get back.

Same goes for Ramage. Neither are poor fullbacks for a mid-table side, but better are needed for a real promotion challenge.
