pete so if evra signed from man utd tomorrow would you be having the same argument? no. williams is a good signing and imo an improvement on borrowdale. watch the highlights from the leicester game especially they were targeting both him and ramage as they know the weak links and it worked. The midfielders went to assist them because they cant defend themselves leaving a massive hole to exploit in the middle.

At the end of the day competition for places is healthy, lets just see how williams does and its up to borrowdale to live up to petes high expectations.

Pete he is no scapegoat. He just isn't good enough and really Ramage isn't either. Teams and fans from other clubs have spotted our weakest links and that is our full backs. Fans from other clubs are crying out for their managers to put on a pacy winger because a pacy winger = run rings around our full backs.

we've played 15 games, he has been ever present and poor second half against Palace, the way many are going on is that he has scored 2-3 own goals and been a liability. Reality is, he hasn't.

He WILL cost us goals because of his poor positional play and his lack of pace to rescue that problem. Pete at this level you can't get away with those 2 weaknesses.
I would actually say he is better and an improvement on Delaney but I am afraid that is the best you will get from me.
