Maybe a super curler from 35 yards like Roberto Carlos will do the trick.

End of the day, us QPR fans always need a scapegoat and we have one in Borrowdale. Last season it was Gavin Mahon, now we string one or two wins together, he is best thing since the invention of sliced bread. Now some of you even want him playing all the time. you have to laugh, because last season it was Ramage and Cerny, now its Gary Borrowdale.

Speaking to a couple of players, Routledge never ever gets passed Borrowdale in training, thats tells me that he is good. The fact, he has made less mistakes than our other defenders this season, proves me to he doesn't deserve the stick. Only Gorkss and Connolly can honestly say they have played better at the back this season, than Borrowdale. Yet, some of you lot want to single him out, even blame him for defeats.

He has bounced back from last season and done well.
Did you actually bother reading any of the thread? Doesn't look like it.

And while we're at it, how is it that a thread initiated by the modfather inciting people to boo Williams goes without any comment whatsoever from you?

      end of the day

Williams V Borrowdale, definitely good to have competition for places, but nothing between the two of them

I've only just come back on line, reading through it now if you'd let me.

        cheers.

As for Borrowdale, give it a rest.

Biggest load of pap, seriously sometimes I think the extent of your football knowledge could be easily fitted onto the back of the stamp, how the **** do you know Williams is at the same level as Borrowdale
Borrowdale is a below average championship footballer
Williams only has to be average to improve our team and for what i saw against PBoro looks decidely better than your Gary
Or is it that you are upset because you now base your anti Sousa snidy comments on the fact that he didnt use Borrowdale?? wow Paolo may have been right!!!! Or did Gianni not have a hand in this signing??? Either way me thinks you protest too much... which is a great shame as you clearly are a genuine loyal QPR SUPPORTER

Thankfully Pete you seem to respect my opinion so here goes:

Borrowdale has done nothing wrong. In the same way that Wayne Bridge had done nothing wrong for Chelsea (when he was there) but the opportunity came along for them to buy Ashley Cole and he's turned out to be both better defensively and offensively (hate that American word) than Bridge just in the same way that Leigertwood has been better than Ramage even though Ramage hadn't done anything to warrant being dropped.

As others have said sometimes better players come along (and most on here believe that Williams is the better player) and will take their place ahead of another. I'll give you another example what had Tevez done wrong to be replaced by Berbatov at United? Nothing but Ferguson believed that Berbatov was the better player.

Borrowdale has done nothing wrong but going forward he could do a lot more and for that reason people will believe that we could improve in that area. Williams is no Ashley Cole but you wouldn't keep Borrowdale in the side because he has done nothing wrong and leave Cole on the bench would you. They are extremely well paid players who have to get used to competing for their position. Up until now Borrowdale has been extremely fortunate that he hasn't had someone to take his position. In time if he keeps it then he clearly is the better player.

I find some of the opinions of people on Borrowdale pretty baffling. Borrowdale is a superb passer of the ball and a solid defender. His style of play fits perfectly into ours too. He isn't an outstanding defensive defender but he's pretty good. Some of you lot seriously, I think you are completely bonkers!

Williams may turn out to be better, who knows, BUT Borrowdale is a scapegoat for some people on here who I genuinely don't think actually understand game patterns and shape especially well. I know that sounds harsh, but every game Borrowdale does well, with the possible exception of Leicester. He offers a LOT going forward, he rarely loses the ball. Anyone remember Delaney? And he doen't just play piffling 5 yarders. Also, he doesn't massively overlap and I am pretty glad too! We either have Buzz, Adel or Routledge in front of him, and none of them are defensive minded. Adel rarely tracks back, making it even harder for Borrowdale.

Some people are so over the top on here it makes me laugh.

                      Two questions:

                      1. Why was he on loan in League One when he was owned by Cov?

                      2. Why was he on loan in League One within weeks of signing for us?

I don't know but I do know sometimes there's a lot more to these things than just ability. Relationships, politics, styles of play etc...

I personally think that he was loaned out from here because he was someone who was bought without the manager's knowledge. I am not condoning that but it wasn't the player's fault...

All I care about is how well he is doing now. The team are also doing great and you are just moaning...

Not moaning at all. We have a substandard left back, and action has now been taken to address that.

The only people apparently unable to accept that appear to be visually impaired, mentally challenged or anti Sousa conspiracists.

I don't give a monkey's about Sousa. I do however rate Borrowdale highly. As did my dad who played Conference level, and picked out players he thought did well against Palace (not many) when he came to watch - Borrowdale being one of them. I'm not blind, have coached and played decent semi-pro level, and can see why Borrowdale has many qualities a manager who loves the passing game would want in his team. You're pretty aggressive about it all. Anyway I am off as have stuff to do.
