As is my lot as a long term Rrrrs supporter...... I always expect to win the league until that is mathematically impossible, then I go for a play-off place, then I pray that were not relegated!!!
However, this season, I'm still firmly EXPECTING to win the league, but I'll settle for winning the playoffs at Wembelee

OK I confess, I expected us to struggle all season but I think after supporting the Hoops for 40 years I can be forgiven for that!
The addition of a few fantastic loan and permanent signings in areas that we all knew were (and in some cases still are) weak plus Buzz fit again has transformed a group of good to mediocre players into on occasions an outstanding team.
Also....you have to hand it to him/them, Jim wasnt my first choice but together with John Gorman, they really have got us playing both attractive AND effective football.
SO..my pre season prediction of bottom 6 may have been a bit pessimisitic, now I reckon we'll finish comfortably 4th...but I have been wrong before
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!
2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....
2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....
2015/2016, average at best.....
2016/2017, same old, same old....
2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!
Its the hope that kills you!
