Okay, long way to go, but I would imagine we have surpassed supporters expectations so far?

Certainly. I wd have reckoned about 8th/9th. That said someone showed we only have about two more points at this stage last season, its just that this season everyone is bunched a lot more closely. If I have a concern it is that playing wise we seem to have gone off the boil a bit from the brilliance we showed at Derby. But perhaps it wd be asking too much to expect us to keep that up, think even Hammer was impressed...

I thought we would be in about 7th or 8th place at the moment at best so I am more then happy.

I would have thought around 10th before the season started. To be 4th has exceeded my expectations, and i am pleased beyond belief for the players and managment.

Really impressive start to the season.

No at the begining of the season i said we would finish 10th as we didnt have a goal scorer but with a goal scorer i said 5th or 6th. But i still look how many points of relagation we are first, but my neck muscles taht have been wasting away of the last few years are getting stronger and i am begining to look at the top of the table these days.

The biggest surprise to me though is the quality of the football, its a sheer joy to watch sometimes. I had forgottem what it was like, before this season i would have agreed with most, win first, entertainment 2nd... now i would put entertain first and winning second as i forgot how much enjoyment i get out of great passing football.
One for all.... and all for one
