  • Did I waste my money buying a Season Ticket?

Of course I am getting great entertainment this season and my seat is guaranteed for the whole year regardless what the demand from fans is but would I have been better off being a member or buying a ticket each game?

Seems to be many incentives these days to try and increase the crowds at Loftus Rd but am I and the others who stumped up our cash in May subsidising those who would not otherwise go?

A cup run and/or to see us promoted and sitting in YOUR seat when that happens mate will make it all worthwhile.

For what its worth i'm unbolting my seat and stealing it if we do get promoted this year

But why dont they give us some incentive like 1/2 F.A cup ties free, if we get a home draw??

Personally i am happy with the knowledge that i have the same seat every game.I have a good view and don't have the hassle of buying a ticket every game.

Depends on if the club keep doing it.

Difficult dilema, they want full crowds but know fans at the moment won't spend £20 or £25 for games.

The kids had offers, we've had the £10 offer and be interesting to see what they do next. At the moment, I'm not too concerned, but as to be an advantage of being a season ticket holder and at the moment I don't see that.

Just an extra note, the club should give free travel for the televised WBA game, whether you are official, LSA or FOQPR. Its going to be a big game on a Monday night and potentially we will have no-one there

It was a genuine question mate!

I could start with why do members get a box full of goodies when season ticket holders dont?

I also believe if I was to miss just one home game this season then I would be better off buying each game instead but I am sure someone who is better at maths could confirm this.

Iys not because of any jealousy I may or not have its what real benefits does a season ticket have at QPR apart from a guaranteed seat?

No buying a season ticket is the best option, I've a great seat and I won't have to worry about the inevitable scramble for seats when the time comes.

Unfortunately it is the clubs fault for not selling enough ST's prior to the season starting. There could be a whole host of reasons already exhausted on here.

There will always be fans who feel they are subsidising others, my only guess is we have all been on both sides therefore making it more acceptable to deal with.......

On another note there are lots of advantages of being a ST holder

                        Guaranteed seat
                        Guaranteed same seat
                        No queuing every game
No having to arrive extra early, hence more pub time
Feeling of being bigger "part of the club"
Priority for away and cup games
                        Priority if we go up
No need to find cash for the games you go to
Get to make new friends with fans who sit around you

All the seats around me in JU are deserted as those who use to sit there have been priced out but I must admit all your other reasons are spot on.

                              ;D Fair point.

Hopefully the club will start to get things right on the ST front and we will see bigger regular crowds. Then you can make some more friends
