  • Well Done Gianni

Nice to see our Sporting director getting some praise with relation to getting this deal done quickly.

I have heard that Jim and Gianni have a great working relationship, just goes to show that Sporting directors can work within a proper management structure long may it continue.

He's sorted out a problem we've had for too long.

But well done for doing it. Good work.

Indeed a great signing and you are right it does goes to show that it works.

Buy having a Sporting Director it allows the manager to get on with things on the pitch and less to worry about.

Very well said funky, agree 100%
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

No point in championing him everytime he does something as it's his job. I'm a big fan of Gianni, but this is something that should have been addressed long ago, along with the striker sittuation.

                  Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                  And many more mistakes

we are talking a major **** up by him which arguably condemned us to another season playing lower lge footy, he has been barracked every chance we have had since...
some, will just be waiting and it'll happen ..in football all make a mistake.

That's rubbish Luke. If you're gonna #### him then crack on but you don't speak for us all.

                      I'll be cheering, not jeering.

I don't blame Tommy Williams for our failure to win promotion. The same way I don't blame Southgate for not winning Euro 96. It's a team game - win as a team and lose as one.
