It sounds like a perm deal is being considered. My question is why are Peterborough letting him go and even play in the FA Cup (as long as they are not drawn against each other)?
Contract up in summer, when he would leave for nothing, and Posh want to at least get a few quid for him before that.

Not a reflection on his ability, just pure economics.

Maybe that is the case and that they are putting him in the shop window.

But I would have thought that if he is fit, they would rather keep a good left back for the next 2 months to try and climb off the bottom.

started 12 in all comps. 1 goal. 5 assists. not bad for a left back.

Oh thanks Sir Les, so can't have been too badly injured and must have been first choice. Sounds like there might be a bit more to this deal than meets the eye.

              Never saw that one coming

we do need competition for left back positions and seems he has done well at Peterborough United.

Dunno what we gonna scream now, when he goes down the wing!!

do you think he will be first choice or just competition to keep Gary B on his toes?

If he isn't fully fit then I am sure for the time being it will be to cover GB but in time I think he'll be looking to take GB's place from him.

Only spoke to a few fans about it, and they obviously are saying he should be first choice.

Either way, we need two left backs. Having Ramage play in that position, shows you how short we are.

Magilton: "It's no reflection on Gary Borrowdale or Peter Ramage, who have both played in that left back position for us this season, but when a player of Tommy's quality becomes available, it's too good an opportunity to turn down.
"It was a no brainer in that respect."

Don't put your mortgage on "Bozza" keeping his place.

Scott Jones...still think no body is coming?
Not quite the tobasco Pete had this time round

Bytheway...quality signing albeit harsh on GB, but that's football.

I think he will be 1st choice once JM sees him in training a few times.

                            Ha ha so true!

Just like Buzsaky and Vine from a few years ago this is a win-win situation. He performs well we sign him permanently, he performs badly we say goodbye.

Carrying an ankle knock. Contract up in summer and they've signed a young full back called Griffifths as a long term replacement, I think?

Better hide all the copies of the QPR magazine from the club shop as Kevin Gallen gave him a right slating in it.
