QPR U.18 1 - 0 Brentford U.18
Team: Bulmer. Harriman. Sanderson. Doughty. Bailey. Olley. Bewick. Perring. Cox. Malloy. Sterling.
Among the subs were Nannetti and Frankie Sutherland who came on for Sam Bewick in the second half.
A bright and sunny day for this Youth Alliance Cup match at Harlington.
This was a pretty tight match with not a great deal of chances on goal for either side. Rangers dominated more in the first half, but at half-time it was still 0 - 0.
Brentford came out to play well in the second half and were probably on top, but the balance was tipped by a great run down the left wing by Elliott Cox - he then pushed the ball to the by-line and managed to get in an excellent cross for Raheem Sterling to volley home a cracking goal from just inside the penalty area.
Martin Allen and David Pleat were also watching. Martin Allen's son Charlie had a good game in midfield for Brentford.
