Cant understand how people can rate a 14 year old kid?? Imagine if he is put into the first team and comes up against someone like claude davis FFS. Probably looks good against other kids but f*ck me we are talking about professional football here.
Dont want to spoil the party but get a grip guys.
Forget now... his getting older by the day and we should develop the lad so that when his older he will make it with us.
If another club came in and said 2m, would you take it?
I'd say 'NOT FOR SALE' at any price.
I probably would mate.....most off us probably had bright footballing futures at 14, wait to he hits 16, 17, 18 when girls booze etc etc hits his eyes. Way to young to be putting this pressure on the boy IMO.

but when you judge him against all the other u16's that played, he looks different class. thats how u judge his potential mate. very promising.
We've got a couple in the current first team squad who look more lightweight than him.
100%, I used to manage a boys side and one of them, Simon Church has made it and from the age of 10 it was odds on that he would. A boy that we used to play against, Scott Davies has also made it and again you could see that he would at a very early age. I had about 6 boys scouted by Wycombe, Reading and Watford but the ones who made it stood out.
I think Rooney made his debut in the PL at 16 didn't he?
Also, Bostock played for Palace 2 or 3 seasons ago.
A lot depends on his build, but as pointed out already, there are players at QPR now and previously, who look as very lightweight.
I would name him amongst the subs once he is 15 (in a few weeks) and possibly play him for the last few mins of a match in which QPR are leading by at least 2 goals. This way it would at least go someway to convincing him that his early career opportunites will be best served at QPR and not a top 4 side's youth academy.
know a kid who played with bostock, n he said he was always big for his age group, apparantly our boy aint. i agree give him a chance, one hand he could struggle against a big unit, but on the other if he is as good as we are led to believe, he could mug a few defenders off, and that will work wonders for his development
