agree fill lr now but i am thinking a few yrs down the line....
If we got a nice new stadium with good views all around, comfortable seats with leg room, numerous food and drink outlets, plentyfull toilet facilities, bars and wider concourses, playing good exciting football, i would be very suprised and shocked if we did not attracted lapsed and new fans.....it would be onwards and upwards. They seek him here.................

surely we look now at land and plans for a new arena somewhere near the bush?
in a recession we may get a better deal??
bbc are skint, army may sell off that piece of TA in SAR and council may negotiate for that run down plastic pitch...there is the space...
new ground for 25,000 ( with room to add)
use rainwater into reservoirs for watering pitch
( enviro friendly, we may get "incentives" for this??)
leg room
room for our own clubhouse ( as newky have)
built in gym/indoor pitch as arsenal had, for use and hire by locals, members etc
maybe an area that converts into safe terrace as german clubs can do
PLAN IT NOW....if we don't go up, soon...no worries.
Totally agree we need to plan now.....infact I would like to think we've already undertaken the feasibility study or at least this will be instructed some time in the immediate future.
2 potential sites I can think off are The Scrubs or The Unigate site the BBC land is worth far too much to build a football ground on. I've gone into one on the redevelopment of LR a number of occasions and I'm not in favour of it at all. I believe QPR and Fulham need to build a football ground together with world class facilities which would ensure the long term futures of both clubs. H&F Council are one of the worst councils in London for giving planning consents yet if we had a joint venture with our neighbours the council IMO would no doubt endorse and potentially part fund it.
On another note I was driving past the Unigate Site the other day and it looked like there was some demo work going on....can anyone confirm this or not?

we don't need a new stadium.
Just being in the prem doesn't fill the gorund.
Bolton, Blackburn, Middlesborough (until relegation) and a number of other teams consistantly have half empty stadiums.
We get 11/12k - if we actually start to fill it - then we may have a case. I am sure that we would not sell out half the games in the prem after the 1st season - especially when they put 50% to 75% on ticket prices.
