  • Change of Name..From The Rangers Stadium

With all these clubs talking about changing stadium names, would your be for or against it, if it generated the club extra revenue?

I don't call it Rangers Stadium anyway, so no problem with any name change as it will always be Loftus Road to me. Take the money, Kingfisher Stadium sounds great.

We have an advantage as the stadium is called Rangers Stadium and it don't matter what it is changed to, it will always be in Loftus Road, which is what the media boys call it any way.

That might be a disadvantage too, as if everyone calls it Loftus Road (as I do too) then what is the point of paying money to change the name....

Agree, always has been and always will be Loftus Road to me and most others.

But will sponsors see it the same way.

Newcastle went for sportsdirect.com@St James' Park Stadium and how much did they get for that?

                  Nothing.

Just hope we can do a better deal than that. (Not going to hold my breathe!!!)

Anything that generates revenue can only be a good thing for the club.
