We need to spend some decent money on a big, fast but skillfull forward to give us another option, someone in the Zamorra mould. Plus we need more attack minded full backs. If we could get these, plus some of our loans then we would have a chance of competing with West Brom. They won't come cheap but poor old JM really hasn't got any options in these areas and if a poor team like Palace can work it out and get a point against us we have a problem. Our forward options are really poor when you compare us to most other CCC teams, so we need to spend in this department.

I we don't think we would get BZ but I mean someone who plays like him, has the physical presence in the air but is also quick on the ground and can finish (not much to ask really). As said on other threads we probably won't have Adel in the New Year but a sneeky bid for that Boazza now at Blackpool might be worth a go. Very skillfull but also a team player.RIP: Doug, Sniffer and Pat

I like Boazza but think we missed our chance when he was free - also he's another wide man, really, of whom we are overloaded. we need a straight up and down centre forward, even on loan if nec. half the season will have gone by jan. yes, we can still be in the hunt for it then but why make it so much more difficult for ourselves than it needs be?

gary hooper.. i feel is the answer.. however he seems to be having fitness problems!

Got to say, I like Watson and he is very similar to Rowlands, who I don't think will come back from this latest injury. If we are to push on to the next level we need quality upfront, not sure about Hooper but at the right price he would be a step in the right direction, as would Jackson. It is a pity that Simpson is not 8 inches taller as he has all the other attributes for what we need.RIP: Doug, Sniffer and Pat

both times i must say his price tag of 2.5m or w/e is OTT.
i maybe wrong but so far he hasnt merited us spending that sorta money on himSoldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"

But he was outstanding against Cardiff, Barnsley & Newcastle.
Last night he was terrible, but maybe we should consider that over the last 4-5 weeks, he hasn't played much.
After Swansea, he was banned, then came the International break, 30 mins against Reading and a 2 game ban. Yesterday was a game probably played at a frenetic pace (I didn't see it), and he probably wasn't up to it.
I do agree that if QPR want to challenge for promotion another striker and at least a pacy left back will be needed.
Leigertwood can keep his place at right back and is a better option than Ramage.
Taarabt is likley to leave in January, and hopefully Cook will be fully fit.
