Our inability to adjust during the game

I'm again disappointed with the sides performance tonight. In particular Buzsaky and Watson who for me were both VERY poor.

However, our biggest problem is that we don't know how to vary our play when plan A isn't working. This was brought up by SPC a couple of weeks ago when we were winning, but it is exactly the way things went tonight and against Leicester.

Taking off Taarabt & Simpson for Vine and Aygemang and pumping the ball long to Aygemang isn't the answer as Pat can't jump!

When our passing plan fails to work, Simpson becomes isolated and frustrated, Taarabt takes it upon himself to resort to trying to beat 11 men, Buzsaky seems to shrink into a shell and we generally run out of ideas....

The (was about to say their) lino got the pen for them wrong, Sears was miles offside before their player was fouled. Though really 5 mins earlier I think they should have had a pen when Hall bundled one of theirs in the box. Overall Palace deserved a point.

I'd agree with you, its just replacing players who are not as good, but playing the same style. I know no-one likes Pellicori, but even if he got 10 minutes, it would give a different style, when its obvious one isn't working.

Saying that, we were unlucky not to get the win. So, its a tough one.
