Always Against Palace !!

We totally outplay them and they muster a draw.

Speroni makes two world class saves, from Faurlin and vine. Another day, this is another 4-1, Routledge misses a sitter late in the first half. On the whole, normally disappointed with a draw, but the performance for me was first class. We do look suspect at the back, but thats because we attack a little too much. Don't want to single out anyone, but Hall needs games and was fault for the goal. Faurlin was back to his best.

Teams do seem to be doing there homework on us, whereby we were hardly allowed to play the ball from the back, with the two strikers stopping most of the throw outs to defenders. Palace came for a draw and done a job, but on the whole this was a much better performance than at home to Leicester and in a way I think our style is more suited to playing away. Roll on Sheffield Wednesday !! Cardiff recently went through a blip and come back strong, thats what we need to do to stay in the mix.

Our target is 10 points every six games, so we need 6 points from the next 3 games and that is feasible.

I couldn't disagree with you more.
Lets not kid ourselves Palace are poor very poor.
Leicester are a much better side than Palace and this was 2 pts dropped not 1 point gained. I thought we could of won the game if we played like we did in the last 15 mins. I thought at the back we looked weak. Hall and Stewart just aren't good enough. I defended hall today but he is also poor like stewart. Why not just friggin clear it. No need to scissor kick it ffs. I thought the passing at time wasn't great. The plus side for me was I thought when Vine came on he looked sh it hot. Everything he did had class about it. The tempo was good but we can't just turn it on at the end of the game. Yes we missed a great chance from Routs just before half time but in general we didn't win the midfield battle 1st half. For me I would play watson and Mahon in the middle for the next game. Fraulin had a fair game but Mahon brings much needed leadership because at times in that 1st half someone needed to take control. Oh and Pete I didn't drink tonight just giving an honest view of the game!

Defensively, I'd agree.

Palace played into our hands when they were 1-0 down and we were not able to take advantage. Routledge had two good chances and failed to put them away.

Tarrabt did win us another penalty though

It was good to hear plenty of noise from your side of the ground again, keep it up, it is slowly getting thru to SAR fans, and more are joining in the singing. also good to hear the cerny chants, and was it a first tonight, no chelsea songs at long last?

Tarrabt can look class but at times today he was a luxury.
He had many opportunitys to play a quick pass but dwelt on it.
Jim was right to pull him off.
The big postive for me was Vine.
He looked different class.
Some of his play was very clever and I would like to see him start against Wednesday!

Palace had most of the first half and we were better 2nd, not suprised Hall gave away the pen, he is lazy, and clumsy, the sooner connolly gets back the better, although JM loves hall so Connolly may have to wait (shouldnt be long though)....

Thought Routledge had a poor game compared to his usual standerds!

im inclined to go with the sober guy,i too am very disapointed with a draw at home against an average team,on the back of a home defeat,so despite us sneaking into 6th spot on goal difference,im ****ed off we are not 5th tonight,so no street celebrations for me,im afraid!
