when is this tight asre board gonna buy a ****** striker!!
You just can't expect the midfield to keep scoring all the goals.

The midfield are more than pulling their weight at the moment but they can't and shouldn't be expected to be scoring all the time.

We need 3 good strikers to be competing for 2 places in the starting line up.

Not 1 starting and 2, average at best, coming on in the last 15 minutes.

Couldn't agree more. Certain people on here actually laughed at me when we were scoring loads and I predicted it wouldn't last long. The stubborness of the same posters will still shine through though but with the chances we're making, another two good strikers would have field days. Either way you look at it, we lack s cutting edge. All the experts agree, yet some of the football Gods we have on here would beg to differ.

How many goals have we scored??

Plus we are 6th because we have scored so many goals. Simpson goes two games without a goal and your shouting from the rooftop.

Agreed, it does worry me that techincally we make changes and bring on Ageymang and Vine, who are not profilic scorers, but credit to Vine tonight on another night the half volley he hits goes in, he couldn't have hit it more cleanly.

I think the striker situation will be addressed in January, but for the time being and up until then, we will score goals.

Pete, nobody is dissapointed at being sixth as it's an improvement but we need to be more clinical. You know what, with two clinical finishers to add to Simpson, we could almost walk this league. I truely believe we have the best midfield the CCC has to offer, bar none. We've been unfortunate without Connolly who'd have surely made a difference both at Derby and versus Leicester. But it's definately the final 3rd where we're letting ourselves down as we didn't address it when we should have. I'm a big, big fan of Vine who's a great impact player, but he'll never be clinical. We need to make sure that Best is not the only striker we try to sign and that Aggy and Heider go, not Vine.

Pete, we can tear this league apart with the right quality up top.

IMO Faurlin had alot of the hardwork to do tonight because Watson wasnt at the races! Hes missed games and imo it showed!

Weve scored alot of goals this season so imo we cant grumble, were in 6th and although we drew tonight we could and should have won....

Im happy at the moment, on another night we would have scored 4 and the opening post to this thread would have been totally different!
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

if other teams swamp the midfield we cannot play.

yes simpson i doing ok but he has no one with him. we have the ball in wide positions but can do nothing with it because the box is empty.

a striker is a must if we are to progress.

i thought taarabt didn't have a badgame today but is a must for him to mess about with it every time he gets the ball. sometimes he has to keep it simple.

i also thought legs and borrowdale played well today

ambition must be shown in january
