He reminds me of the sort of player that's solid, not spectacular, yet what he does he does well.Sort of like players like Roy Keane,Essien,Batty and so on.Don't do flash goals and so on,but are excellent at their jobs in midfield.

Nearly everyone had a bad day at the office on Friday.
What I did like was that he still went looking for the ball in the second half. He certainly didn't hide even if his distribution was poor. Problem is, that was why he stood out in people's heads. Think Legs had a far worse half.

His 10-yard passing is top drawer (generally). Still has to learn how to give a killer through ball pass in the championship. If that can come, then the sky's the limit.

        Big game for him tonight.

Palace won't just restrict his space and time on the ball, they will give his ankles an introduction to the Warnock style of CCC 'football'. Hopefully he will be too good to get really kicked up in the air.
          RIP: Doug, Sniffer and Pat

I agree. He had a bad game, but it looked worse, largely because he didn't hide and was constantly involved in the play. Some passes were good and others poor.

I think nearly all of Leigertwood's were off target, but as he hardly got in the game, it went largely unnoticed.

Faurlin is a good young prospect and is still learning the game, as well as adapting to England and the CCC.

I am confident he will get better and even start scoring a few goals. He went close with his free kick at Derby and even closer against Leicester.
