  • League is just so tight

I just looked at the league table and only just realised how tight it is. Everyone is saying a win tonight puts us 5th but if we draw we jump from 10th to 6th. I know we should look to win this game as it is at home but a point would really help our league position so lets hope we do win but also don't throw away any chance of climbing the table, as it won't be an easy game. Good news that Watson is back and I hope we have a go as we can't defend so we should be looking for goals.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

a bad run could dent our charge.

about 5 weeks ago tho you'd thought boro, newcastle and WBA was gonna run away.

then us, leicester and cardiff got a good run and its all changed
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Opps thank you Chris, I stand corrected.
It is indeed tomorrow and I am playing 5 aside football tonight so I shouldn't of got that wrong. It was a mates birthday at the weekend so I did consume more alcohol than usual.

We should aim to win, which im sure we will, but you are right even a point pushes us up the league. I think our defence will be shored up with Leigertwood at RB, were more than capable of winning so lets hope we can get the 3 points!

Only problem that worries me is that Warnock will play such negative football, there players kicking our flair players in the air and stopping us from playing and them nicking it with a last second dirty scrappy goal lol.
Palace are the southern version of bolton, stoke, etc etc.

Palace have got a few quality players to be fair to them. Victor Moses, Freddy Sears and Ambrose are all capable of getting goals. They have quality at the back with Speroni in goal and Danns and Clynne at full back. Fonte is a quality CB and Daivis is an 'orrible git. Players like Nick Carle who'll be on the bence can make a difference and even crap players like Shaun Derry could cause us harm as he's a brute who'll really upset our flair players. Plenty of pace with not only Sears and Moses, but also Scannell who I don't rate, but the way our back 4 have been lately he has the ability to cause us problems.

Hand on heart, I'm not looking forward to this. I can't stand palace as much as Chelsea, so to get anything but a win will hurt me for weeks. I'm not 100% confident for this fixture.

No point being as deluded as some were before the Leicester fixture mate. I aslo said that would be tough. I didn't expect them to have it so easy at LR, but I knew we were in for a tough time.

Would you rather I just lied and said I think we'll smash them? I prefer not to set myself up for a fall. If I'm proved wrong and we hammer them, I'll be a very, very happy man with bright ginger hair and humugous freckles to boot.

Well I just hope palace have as much chance of winning down LR, than you have for becoming the 1st ginger James Bond.

Daniel craig has the same colour barnet as me...work that out

to be fair, we could trounce them with Mahon. Without him we don't have any bite and they'll relish that.

I agree I don't think Legs and Faurlin work in the middle together.
Legs looks better at RB and an improvement on Damage.
I think it might be a score draw but really hoping for 3 pts.
Oh and ps your a strawberry blonde, don't keep putting yourself down, we're do that!

I like to entertain the abuse. It makes me smile. I know I'm good looking which puts me in the firing line for negative coments from other men. I still go out and turn heads so I'm happy ;)

I forgot about my mate Watson. We should really win.

Warnock's sides are always tough to play against and potentially he has the nouse to upset us but I think Friday nights performance could be the kick we needed and if we play our game, we should win reasonably comfortably, if though Palace play as Leicester did as a team from 1-11 then they will make it very difficult but I think Leicester are a one off who will go very close to promotion too, something I can't see Palace emulating.

These are definetly the kind of games you need to win,if we have realistic promotion ambitions, home game against a midtable team, especially after losing our last home game.Good test for Mr Magilton,to see how the team reponds to that defeat.Victory would put us 5th,and that is what we must/should get.
