  • Why we might not be in contention at the end of the season

Great form of late but we may have been getting carried away without checking the opposition, Preston aside.

The squad remains unbalanced with as much depth as a puddle in some key areas.

Our full backs are either average or poor.
Both full backs are under no pressure for their places

We are relatively easy to stop if the whole of the opposition team are at it - get in our faces and close us down. Not sure we'll nick many games we don't deserve to win.

Expectancy is at biblical levels - I can only recall a QPR squad delivering under those circumstances ONCE in my memory. That being Sheff Weds away for promotion (could possibly include beating Palace 6-0 to stay up).

I used the word might in my subject line - with careful management and a few tweaks and we're probably a good bet to finish top 6 and then I would possibly fancy our chances ;D
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

With out a couple of backs and a quality striker in january,i wouldnt fancy our chances for promotion either, think even a top 6 could be a struggle. This january our owners decide whether they want us up or not

i agree with thoses points. but i think ramage is a very good back up. he lacks pace which is his problem as he keeps getting beaten. ledge is better at RB as he offers a attacking threat aswell.

i think consistency is the key to our hopes though. we need to go on a nice winning run to really stamp our mark.
