  • Tuesday - team re-shuffle?

I think everyone would agree we looked lethargic on Friday night. Great run come to an end, and there were signs of it at Derby too...

So, what team should we play on Tuesday? I think Legs at right back again, and I would give Vine a start - he looks very bright again, thankfully. Faurlin looked tired, very tired at the end... Adel looked shot too, he needs a little break I think. Centre back is a difficult one as Hall can't play passing game like we have been doing. It only takes one or two players not comfortable on the ball to ruin it completely...

I'd go for (if all fit):

Cerny (although I wanna see Heaton have a go soon)
    Legs, Gorkss, Stewart, Borrowdale
    Routledge, Watson, Mahon, Buzz
    Simpson, Vine

I would have seriously considered bringing on Ainsworth on Friday, not only for the width we badly lacked but because he would have injected passion and got the crowd going...

    Thoughts anyone?

    Adel?
He has been our best player last few games, taking him out would be crazy

Only because he looked absolutely knackered on Friday and was non-existant in the 2nd half... Just for a game or first 60 mins, give him a little break? He also played for Morrocco in the internatonal break... I might be wrong and I see your point though...

I did'nt see any signs of it at Derby, their fans told me we were the best team they have played this season. On friday we were hustled out of it, not allowed to play and we did not deal with it. If it was not for Cernys mistake we may well have got a point, which under the circumstances would have been a good result.

Defensively against Derby we were shoddy and lacked concentration at times... signs of tiredness perhaps? Going forward we were excellent.

Whilst not a massive fan of Fitz Hall I think introducing him to the starting 11 would stop our defence becoming complacent. He'll be injured again within half a dozen games so he'll be in the side just long enough to keep everyone on there toes.

We are startng to look very shaky at the back, Connolly can't get back quick enough....fresh blood maybe the answer.

After the shocking performance displayed by Stewart, it would be a disaster if he was to start tues. He was clearly the worst player on the pitch and for that reason Hall has to start. I agree with legs at right back. Ramage lacks pace and was also very poor on fri.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Very unfair on Stewart, Ramage had a big powerful pacy centre forward up against him out wide and could not cope at all, Stewart then has to cover for this no virtually every attack whilst attempting to marshall Matt Fryatt one of the stand out strikers in this league, with absolutley no protection from Legitwood.

The only changes that need to be made if everyone is fit is to put Legs back to right back and Mahon back in midfield.

Remember this is a team that won its last three games scoring 12 goals, one loss against the best team I've seen at LR in quite some time is no reason to start making massive changes, doing just that is how the wheels fall off

If Hall comes back in the side the defence will be even more dodgier! We desperately need Connolly back.

Yeah i think we should cut Stewart a little slack, he had a bad game, but he was unwell, perhaps he shouldnt have played atall if he was that ill! JM is doing a great job, but playing stewart was perhaps a mistake!
