  • Have we been sussed?

Leicester did a good job tactically on us, moreso than any team this season by my reckoning.
Point is, will other teams TRY to follow their example and play accordingly, and if so, how will we react?

I know there have been points about what is plan B, well i saw no evidence of it last night. Do we need a different approach up our sleeve or will quality prevail?

New approach would need a new striker methinks.

I think there was no plan B because we have so many injuries.

We will have much more options off the bench with Watson, Cook, Ephraim, Balanta etc available for selection!

I really don't see last nights result as Leicester doing a great job on us. It was down to too many of our players not playing up to their usual standard. Virtually the whole team were off their game, we could and have lived with a couple not performing but in my opinion only Gorkks played well, I thought Borrowdale was his usual self and Buzz was ok. Apart from that we were below par and Routledge only came into the game in the last 10-15 minutes.

I said yesterday legs would stiffle our nice passing football and he did. He should have been RB and Buzz in the middle. If no one noticed, as we played 1 up front Leicester had their 2 CB's on Simpson and the RB & LB pushed upto join the midfield and killed our game stone dead, so yes we were found out big time.

The worrying thing is Mags did not notice this and To stop it, all he had to do was to get the 2 frontmen to stay up and split the defence and they would have kept 4 at the back.

Many things didn't work last night. We played the ball longer and Simpson stood no chance of winning an aerial battle, we didn't exploit their full backs until the last 10 minutes and when we did we got behind them and should have equalised, I would have put my house on Buz finishing that. I just think it was a blip and we will come back against Palace.

Is it a coincidence that most of our team had an off day at the same time?

I think the Foxes tactics had a lot to do with it tbh.
They seemed hungrier, faster and in our faces more than any other team ive seen this year and their 2 upfront caused no end of problems.

You can bet 22 other championship managers have seen that game and will be taking notes.

In fact, they reminded me of an Ollie team but with better players if that makes sense.

Sussed out what exactly? We have quality players playing at times very good football we had an off night which everyone does we lost because of our own mistakes not because Leicester tore us apart! Did people ecpect us never to lose a game again? Leicester were joint top last night it's not as if we lost 6-0 at home to S****horpe.... Not sure exactly what people expect!

And as for someone suggesting we start with Pat up front, have you lost your mind? We are scoring goals for fun we lose one game where we don't play well and you want to start with Agyemang up front? Presumably we should drop Simpson, Taarabt or Routledge to make room for the prolific striker!

No, just nearly all the quality players having an off day, which therefore was unable to disguise the shortcomings of the usual weak links. We can hardly complain provided that it doesn't happen too often, seeing how much entertainment they have provided recently.

In my opinion, I'd still rather see us lose a few games trying to do the things we are, than watching the rubbish served up in recent times.

Chill amigo. Noones having a dig at the team, and most have no problem with us losing. All im doing is analysing the game.
I agree Leicester didnt tear us apart, but they did stop us playing our game and thats what im looking at.

Fair enough, I just think it was more a case of a bad day at the office than us being sussed out. We have the quality to pick apart any team in this league as long as we play well!

You only play as well as the other team let you and Leicester done a job on us.To play the football we have been playing you have to earn the right,in this division you have to battle and get stuck in at times. Do we have the players who will do?.At times last night we didn't.

Agree 100%, if Leicester had been that good it wouldn't have taken two mistakes by us to give them a win. We didn't play well last night because too many players had an off night, it really was that simple.
