That is EXACTLY the point I am making.

We have seen exactly what they are capable of... so if they aren't quite hitting those heights we should be encouraging them to get back there instead of getting on their backs?

I was disappointed with our performance yesterday - we didn't deserve to win simply put.

Either way, let's see what Tuesday brings. Just hope we get a win, as I can see a few boo's on Tuesday if we don't.

Hate to say it, but I think thats the truth.

      Let's have a "Blame Poll".

      The internet, eh?!
I quite clearly state in my post that it isn't completely down to the fans.

Players ultimately have to do the business on the pitch, but if you think the fans can do no more than we currently are - you are either deluded or don't go to the games.

Saffa great post and agree however the new fans didn't know the words to songs but did know the words to having a go.

Our fans play a big part in some of the results on the pitch and we have seen that many many times.

Let's go back to Derby, if we had the same fans as we had last night we would have lost that game.

          Glad you agree Myu

Great comparison to Derby. Even at 2-0 down we were still singing and supporting them... and much in the same way we deserve some form of credit that we pulled it back and eventually won.

That WOULDN'T have happened at home.

One things for sure Warnock will have a copy of last nights game and will set up Palace exactly how Leicester did last night ...flood the midfield and snap into tackles early ...don't give our midfield anytime to play ...as will every team we play now we've made a name for ourselves ...have we got enough about us to rise above it?

              Sms fair post.
I wasn't at the game but I will be going tues night against palace.
We do need to get behind the side and get a great atmosphere going but for me I don't see that being the main problem.
Does our pitch really suit our style of play? Loftus road pitch is very narrow and yes we have had some great days against reading and Preston but I just think we could get thought out. If the opposition like Leicester play 5 in the middle and look to press high up the pitch we could suffer. We have lots of pace yet what concerned me was our attacking 5 didn't get a sniff. I think we had loads of space on a big derby pitch and with that room to run into space. Rout's won't be able to knock the ball on and then chase it. I think we might actually be better on the road. I guess time will tell but the style of our play suits a bigger pitch IMHO

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

We said exactly the same thing coming home eghamR.

In fairness Leicester were excellent last night, but I think (hope!) having Watson back will make a huge difference.

It's going to be a tough game though.

I am not deluded, and I have a season ticket a few rows from you, in R Block.

So try and drop the guesswork and insults Saffa, and try to see the point of those who question your headline.
As well as those who don't think the fans were too bad last night.
No booing, no mass moaning from where I was sat.

The first few lines in your post refer to those extra 6000 fans, and you use the word "They" a few times when critisising the atmosphere.
What about the booing of Mahon and De Carmine and Taarabt when the crowds were lower, and it was just the standard 11/12,000 "loyal" fans ??

Your general point about QPR fans being too quick to jump on the team is fair.... but to single out those extra 5/6000 as any worse than the regular fans is unfair.
                  And your headline doesn't help.

And I'm pretty f***ing offended by the "You're Deluded or Don't go" line.
So ease up on that stuff, eh?

what a load of crap.... of course the fans are going to moan, if you brought food in a restaurant that gets served cold youre going to moan naturally. Same in any business, we pay money, we expect the goods which we simply didnt get last night. Not up to us to produce the performance only the players can do that, if they can be bothered that is..

Please don't call me by my first name - it's weird being called that by someone I don't know.

If you have a season ticket, then geuinely fair play. I can't see how our opinions can differ that dramatically if we were sat a matter of yards apart - but hey if thats how you saw it then I can't question you.

I'm glad you agree on the fans, but can I just draw your attention to my original post -

I don't isolate the problem to just those extra fans, but season ticket holders/regulars also... The most fickle bunch of fan's at QPR we have had IMO, nothing like we were when scraping around at the bottom of the table a few years ago.

I didn't say that it was those extra 6000 fans, I included ST holders like me and you in that also... so not sure what point your trying to make?

Apologies for the comment I made previously - there was no need for that.

So you put yesterdays game down to lack of effort from the players?

For the record, if they weren't bothered (as you state) then booing is fair enough.

But that simply wasn't the case, it just didn't quite click yesterday thats all.

You started off by aiming it at the extra fans, then changed, and spread the blame to all sorts.

With regards to using your name... we might not have actually MET, but you know me.
And have PM'd me before, using my first name. On another, site mind you. I mistakenly thought you might have realised that.

Anyway, we disagree on this subject.... strongly. Fine.

                          Cheers, Rob.

First of all I didnt hear people getting on players backs, if you mean groaning then that is a natural reaction to seeing so many stray passes

Your comparison to DERBY is exactly my point, I too was at Derby but the performance at Derby was a million miles away from last night, at 2 0 last week, you knew by the way we were playing we would get back in the game, last night we knew our fate early on, supporters respond to levels of effort and performance on the pitch and last night our team werent at the races

Agree on your final point about Tuesday, we do have some impatient fans that follow us

Still we wouldnt change it for the world right??

You only have to read the comments across the message board to see how unrealistic our fans have become, from the build up to the game expecting another hammering, when clearly Leicester were never going to get hammered, one defeat away from home all season, tells you something surely. But oh no they go head long into thinking we will win the league at a canter, never to lose another game.
Don't think whatever happened last night we would have got back in the game but Rangers fans are becoming a very frustrating bunch similar to many other clubs but we use to just appreciate good football and that is what was played last night just mostly by Leicester.
We will be back though just as we have done in the past, you need defeats to focus the mind again.

Was sat in SAR last night and barely anyone sung all night, seemed to be a bit of noise coming from Q and R blocks but other than that not a lot! Shame really especially as we were 1-0 up at one point!
