  • "Let him die"

    Why sing it, just why?

It's pathetic.. how would you feel if one of those players who have that song directed at them did actually die?

While we're at it, i'd like to point out that we are in fact, not the finest football team the world has ever seen.

          Terrace banter is funny.

Stuff like what the Barnsley keeper got a few games ago, that was funny.

"Let him die" isn't. It's just pathetic.

And Kevin Gallen did not, in fact, even own a hat.
              Never mind a "magic" one.
In fact there is no such thing.

And I have NEVER seen lots of lads n lasses running down Uxbridge Road to see QPR... and certainly not with smiles on there faces. That would be just weird.

And even though I publicly stated it tonight - I can reveal that I lied....
I did NOT see a mate the other day, and have any discussions about a caucasian version of Edson Arantes do Nascimento.

And as for meeting Johnny Depp by a railway track? (with a scarf wrapped around his hand)..... yep, you guessed it. More lies.

At what point does terrace banter cross the line in the sand?

What about "Jay Jay Okocha/Didier Drogba's got AIDS?"

                  Is that still banter too?

Where's the real difference between singing about letting someone die, or having a disease that can kill people?

And we're not a "Blue army". We wear mostly White, so White army would be more accurate although still not correct. Blue and White army is correct or Hooped army if we need something shorter to fit the song.

Chelsea are a Blue army, as are Everton and Birmingham etc. I have never, ever understood why we sing that and I never will.

you sound like Harry Redknapp....and that ga.... I mean Sol Cambell.

I think we know that someone isn't going to die. It happens very rarely on a football pitch and the reaction of the players when something is life threatening would almost certainly quiet the crowd.

I find the current move towards chants being ott very annoying. Swearing will be banned before we know it.
