Massive shame if true. Have some great memories of him over the years. In League One taking Mrs Fox to see us win 2-1 against Brighton, him cutting in from the left and scoring a scorcher. Being from Brighton she was not keen on that. She had the cheek to cheer when Cullip scored for them, not too popular in SAR!

Always tenacious, always committed and a good footballer. Perfect captain material. Has done us proud, really unlucky with injuries past couple of seasons and made a massive difference when he came back in this season. He and Watson put us on right path after uninspiring start to season.

With any luck Daily Star BS.

I was interested to read it what its said

        It started off with

        "QPR are chasing nathan Ellinginton"

than I lost interest. Thats simply not true, but column inches sell papers.

Reality is Rowlands has yet again got a horrific injury, he will be gutted and it will seem miles away before he can get back. With the support of family, friends and people at the club, I'm sure he will be back and good luck to him. Great character to have around the place.

You should be ashamed of yourself, an apology would be in order.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

love him or hate him Rowlands has always given 100% when playing for QPR, you tell he loves the club and it would be a terrible shame if he had to retire never getting the chance to play in the Prem with the superhoops!

Over the years Rowlands has had many rash moments, but he has been a very good professional for QPR and as far as I know, always gave 100%.

He is a bit like a 'marmite' player, but I for one, like him.

Sorry to see if he does call it a day, but I would understand it, if it is likely to cause him long term damage.

I'll never forget the feeling i had when he scored that goal against Wolves last year.

I hope he recovers and as able to run out in a game before the end of the season.

He has consistently been a strong performer through the years.

My little girl who is unfortunately no longer here was mascot last season at home to Palace. We had a box that day and Martin spent a substantial amount of time with her/us along with other current and ex-players.

                          A very nice person.

Very sad story mate, but at the same time it just goes to show how pathetic the comment about him being an a-hole was. Great to know he was able to make that day all the more enjoyable for you both.

I don't think he'll come back.... even if he does get over it and recover, the chances are that after a few games the injury will come back and he'll be out again for another year....

Unfortunately he has a weakness in his knee, I doubt he'll come back.
