anyone got any ideas how we can attract the local boys to ground?
personally i think we should start handing out free tickets to local schools. it always makes me laugh when im standing outside springbok and some kid pushes through crowd with full arsenal kit on,oblivious to whats going on.
i was in some sort of food shop near corner of loftus road the other season and some indian fella said "qpr play near here somewhere dont they?,up near white city innit?" i couldnt be arsed to tell him but i think that if the club could really get involved in the local comunity then we could boost attendances big style.

i went to the england belarus game and half the people there had free tickets

they dished them out to local colleges, schools and the council had some freebies as well

rangers should do something similar if we cant fill the stadium up

I wouldn't bother mate, not unless you wanna ground full of Somalians.

We've barely any local fans base, immigration has taken care of that. If I was QPR I would hand out free tickets in schools around Greenford, Northolt, Ruislip & Uxbridge areas which are QPR strongholds. Kids may support QPR within schools in these areas but their parents may have falling on hard times due to recession and can no longer take them and thus a scheme like this would be most welcome.

Take it from a local lad this is the way to go.

A few weeks ago you were posting ""if you aint from the manor you aint a real ranger!! give all the free tickets to schools in Northolt and Ruislip where the main Rangers support is

Thats true, but a large amount of fans who used to be very loyal will come back...

For instance i know of a whole family who got fed up with briatore so they didnt renew this season... Thats 5 people! (bit silly imo)

Once were up or on our way people like this will return get the bug and buy season tickets again.

Someone the other day said its very easy to not go a couple of times then get lazy, but it works the other way aswell, you go and instantly want to go again...(suppose if we do well though)..
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

yeah i know the way things have gone but even involving the new lot would be better than nothing.when i grew up the place was full of different nationalities yet we still got a mix of people going.if the mittals took control then the people of southall would be perfect for attention.
having said all that i think i feel your argument regarding parents falling on hard times is correct, ive got 3 kids none of which are working at moment so 100 sovs a go for me.

I would personally like to see the clubs PR department locate our existing fan base and reach out to them instead of finding a new one.

This post has a 'league of gentleman' feel about it.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
