  • Does Pete Like A Good Wind Up ?

Appreciate that this is Pete's messageboard - but as we are his punters just thought i'd ask the question.

Most of Pete's recent post's seem to be intent on getting a reaction from readers of this and maybe other messageboards.Nothing wrong with that you may ask,but (in just my opinion) his recent posts seem to be dragging up past issue's which seem to have been put to sleep and putting them out there for us to discuss with a view to get an angry reaction.

Protest's...Jim Magiltons appointment, Jay Simpson,Borrowdale etc.

Pete used to say, certain fans only posted when we lost and never praised the team when they won.Well we are winning, things long good on the pitch so why the need to engage "touchy" subjects when evryone appears happy.

Does Pete really think this way?
Is Pete drumming up numbers on the basis that less people post when we are winning?
Or does pete just enjoy a really good wind up ?

None of the above has been said in a malicious way.I haven't got an agenda or trying to put Pete down...just an observation.

If people feel that i am wrong to post this i will edit it away.

1 word Odejayi. Pete loves to keep people guessing but most of the time he means nothing of it and loves to have a pratical joke.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I like to see people talking and I love reading it.

Everyone has got an opinion, just ask the fans who said Watson/Rowlands could not play together. Shem Rowlands is out for the season. But Faurlin and Mahon are doing a great job. Sure if asked, we would have said no-way,!!

Yes, it is all about opinions - quite right there.

But when people who are proved wrong about certain things, then conveniently forget those, and go on to gloat about the ones they are proved correct about.... and dig people out. Not good.

Can't have it both ways, and expect to get away with a few things being chucked back in your face.

This quote is having a dig at me. I said they couldn't play together.
His memory on others peoples mistakes is incredible but very selective when it comes to his

Difference is, I admit when I am wrong.

Don't see anyone come on here to admit when they are wrong?/ Says a lot about a person to be honest.

Glad to be proved wrong on the appointment of jim Magilton. Before it, I was not convinced.

I originally said wait a few games before chanting for yet another striker, seems we have broken records in the last 4 games, regards to scoring goals.

              Who was wrong about that??

              Don't worry, I didn't think so either

                weareqpr12,

Don't worry it was NOT a dig at you, think the vote was 50-50 split !! Getting paranoid in your old age. You are wrong on Blackstock, but we better leave it there. Looking forward to taking some cash of you, end of the season.

So at no point this season have you said that we've needed better striker options then? Even after Simpson was signed?

And you don't think we need to sign a forward in january, to strengthen the squad?
                    Not a dig, just wondering.

Yeah so wrong that his goals seem to of dryed up over the last couple of games...what a surprise. Your be lucky to break even but I think I'll get at least £15, which I may add i'll be giving to Sms for his wonderful match reports but I will enjoy telling Pete 'I told you so!'
