Would cost a fair bit seeing as he's their man man.

So Benny you would sign the"big lump" Rob Hulse over the young, pacey and very classey Danny Wellbeck.

Members of the jury I rest my case!!!!

When your talking about replacements Benny then IMO Ephraim is just not good enough mate. If you want to change like 4 like then Ephraim lacks class compared to our current front 5
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Considering how well Jay Simpson is being looked after, and the style of play we use - I'd think Arsene Wenger would be very happy to send another of his young-guns down to W12, to further their football education(!), and toughen them up a bit?

            FOR EXAMPLE?.....

Good player - 3rd choice, behind Clichy and Gibbs.

According to this Hulse signed a three year deal in 2008 and was 28 at the time.

ok, ephraim is not at the level that routledge is at but he's better than he gets credit for. Besides, he was only used as an example of backup.

Traore would be a good signing but more likely would be Tom Cruise - you could say the signing wouldn't be Mission Impossible!

I dont think we need any players to make us stronger as we seem to be just fine at the moment. This is what i think our best line up would be and its with players we already have.

                    -------------- Cerny ---------------
                    --Legsofwood--Stewart--Gorkks--
                    -------------- Mahon ---------------
                    Routledge-Watson-Faurlin-Taarabt
                    --------------- Buzz ----------------
                    ------------- Simpson --------------

But what happens if any of them get injured? Why also change from a working 4-4-2 to this formation and why move Buzsaky off the wing when Routledge is firing alongside Simpson.

If Jim had to change our attack/ ie differant options someone like Hulse would be ideal, he's a proven goalscorer in the championship and with our wingers could be awsome.
                        They seek him here.................

sirpiechucker - The question was "What Realistic Player/Players Would Ensure Promotion? so from the team that played against Derby, who would be dropped for x,y or z. We need a couple of better players to back up the existing team for injuries / suspensions, bit I believe we are pretty much there.

Wellbeck would not come to QPR unless he was guaranteed to start, so routledge or Buzz would have to drop to the bench to make way ?

Please don't say who is not good enough, lets have some relaistic names that will strenghten us.

I'll start Welbeck or Machedo on loan from manchester United.
TBH i'm not a great lover of "loans" but it seems to working for us right now

i really hope the club don't think all the hard work is done because of this great run, it can easily go the other way, a couple of losses & we're mid table again.

think we need another out & out goal scorer (agreed we're doing OK with what we've got) but you can't have to many quality strikers, it makes healthy competition, which we haven't got at the moment.

another left back & another right back & i'd say we're almost there, as long as they are ALL quality players, then i don't give a dam who they are, as long as they will push the players that we already have, that's fine by me

I think, if the club were to bring in a few more players in Jan, then get better than we have, lb/rb/striker.....whats the point in buying just as cover.
                              They seek him here.................

Scarlet, that's my point, if Simpson needs replacing, replace him with a better striker, if Routledge needs replacing, replace him with a better winger, etc, etc. The problem is they are playing so well, there is no one better to replace them AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME.
