On the basis that the average life span of a Premiership manager outside of the top four is less than 2 years then yes BUT probably only for the first season. If the current bosses are still in place then I wouldn't see him (and JG) staying much longer, regardless of results!!!!

I think any manager that manages a club and gets them promoted should be given the chance at the next level.

If QPR were to get promoted,do fans think we will stay there or come straight back down?

It's very hard for any team to get out of this league and sustain a place in the premiership these days, although Stoke are not doing to bad.But look at Reading now....Norwich Southampton Leeds etc....

probably but suspect he will be gone pretty quickly if/when we go up and we go through our first dodgy run. Big question has to be will he be given money to spend and if so how much? Most likely what they will do is to limit the amount of money given and sack him if the results are poor.

              yes

yes on one of the other message boards i got a pm from bill power who told me when we first appoited magilton that he believed that qpr had a great potential season ahead of us
because gianni had a friendship with magilton so bill thought we would do well
so i cant see gianni getting rid of jim if he gets us up

                  Could never answer that confidently.

If he takes us up, he deserves the chance to prove it.

I bet if Taarabt didnt get injured WE will be at the Premiership next season, he is the only one that have that special CHARISMA which exist only in very few if rare players.

I believe it is short term...

A little like the ian dowie syndrome, I feel he is only here to get us promoted, then the new guy will come along...

He will have earned the right to have a go with us if we get into the prem.
                        They seek him here.................

It depends which players get brought into to the team after we go up. New players may command a higher profile manager. I'd like to see him manage us though.

i believe that considering our efforts to find the right man for the job jim has been the most successful one. if we was to reach the promise land i feel he will still be manager

HOWEVER. should we look as if we was going down or in trouble at any point.. i feel u will see the board immediately jump in and appoint some foriegn coach.

i do believe once in prem we will stay the funds will be made available to ensure our stay.

                              pressure however will be high
