If we signed Jay simpson i beleive it would be a fee in the region of 1 - 1.5 million...

w12ranger is correct, Jay is in the shop window, he wont get a regular place at the gunners and he knows it... Like i said in a ealier thread he is loving it with us so if the clubs can agree a fee i have no doubt he would sign for us...

4 million is imo way out and i think old RFE is having abit of fun...
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

fair shout tbh.. i dont doubt arsene wenger see's simpsons talents but feels he will never make it into arsenal XI. the pure fact that any "decent" youth player in the eyes of arsene wenger is normally put into the first team at some stage. simpson has never played for arsenal first XI. so that makes me believe he could already been signed or in process of signing..

            as

as far as i can make out this is a done deal, but its important that you guys understand this is only a rumour
VERY VERY DANGEROUS PUTTING UN ACCURATE INFO ON MESSAGE BOARD CAN RESULT IN LOSING PLAYERS TO OTHER TEAMS SO I TRULLY AGREE THIS IS A DONE DEAL BUT ITS NOT COME FROM AN OFFICIAL SOURCE
so lets hope that it is a done deal or a prem side may come in with a five million pound bid

              Translates as:

Gianni finally returns your call after realising he's had 23 missed calls from you already today.

Tells you we've got a deal on the table for Simpson. He realises what a mug you are, and that you'll come straight on WeAreThePoodleBoys, and tells you the boy's worth 4 million. Neglects to mention its 4 million turkish lira but knows you wouldnt know the difference. Tells you not to quote him, but to make up some random unknown sauce/source.

I'll bet I'm about 99.357% accurate with that prediction.
QBP 20th August 2009..."To be fair, I'm glad we are top of the table (for agents fees). Shows we are not a selling club anymore."

Are all probably ahead of him in the pecking order so IMO they would sell.

if we get promoted id expect a decent bid (£ 2-3 million),but he is here until may,so dont expect anything to happen in january.

get the rose tinted glasses off, simpson is here to show how good he is,and hopefully get a move to an established prem side;just like watson and taarabt.the only reason he may stay is if we are the best offer he gets regarding wages and highest team to make a bid

Bit of a silly post Dex!

I don't doubt Simpson would come to QPR, he's playing the best football of his career here and has a genuine shout at getting promoted with us. I also don't doubt that Arsenal would sell for the right price.

4m quid though?.......Let's not be silly!

To put things in perspective, Theo Walcott only cost Arsenal 5m and he'd been a 1st team regular at Southampton for 2 seasons prior to his transfer. 2m quid tops!!!!
